vacation rental description
Enjoy 120 feet of private lake frontage on the north shore of Oneida Lake. The property sits on just under an acre of landscaped gardens and manicured lawns, with beautiful views of Oneida Lake, its sunrises and its sunsets. Our year round home is located on Toad Harbor in West Monroe. It is a 1920s camp that has been renovated from 700sf to over 1000sf.
It boasts a 400sf sunroom overlooking the lake with a brand new cozy wood stove. The 200sf kitchen and mudroom were built last summer and offer all amenities. There is a large deck and screenhouse for enjoying summer nights outside.
The den / TV room is outfitted with state of the art electronics, including a 42" plasma TV. The huge down sofa and chair are great for settling in to watch a DVD or to play board games. The dining table seats 6-8.
The 2 bedrooms offer a double bed and a single bed which sleeps 3 comfortably. A pull out trundle bed is available for a 4th guest. The bathroom is small, but has a clean shower (no tub), and brand new toilet.
The property is conveniently located 10 minutes from Rte 81 Central Square exit. Walmart, gas stations, restaurants are only a few minutes away. Downtown Syracuse and Sylvan Beach are each 20-30 minutes away.

Wi-fi and basic cable. 42" Plasma TV with Bose computer speakers to play a DVD/Netflix with your personal computer. 5 CD changer wired throughout the house and outfitted with audio to play your Ipod.
Washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, tons of applicances, dishes, etc. All linens (sheets, towels, blankets, comforters). Wood, kindling, paper for the woodstove.
House comes with a tandem kayak, innertubes, water toys and fishing poles. Jet ski is available for rental to a licensed boater, with a security deposit and signing of a liability waiver.

All lake activities! Summer: Swimming, boating, fishing (we are on a shallow part of the lake which is apparently awesome for fishing). Winter: Snowmobiling, icefishing, snow shoeing.
We are surrounded by an expansive wild life preserve which is reknowned for its wildlife and birdwatching. There are hiking and snowshoe trails throughout the reserve, as well as creeks and marsh for canoeing.
For the hunters, plenty of deer, ducks, wild turkeys, etc.

$100 Cleaning Fee
$200 Security Deposit and Signed Lease are required to hold a reservation. The deposit is refundable after inspection and premises are found to be in the same condition as upon arrival.
Jet Ski: Available at a rental rate of $50 per hour. Must have legal boater's license and sign a liability waiver. A $500 Security Deposit is also required, which is refundable upon return of the jet ski undamaged and with a full tank of gas.
Arrival and departure times are generally 4pm check in and 12pm (noon) check out.
