Great Stay

Tanya2521 (Ottawa)
Review submitted: February 26, 2011   Date of arrival: February 6, 2011

I just want to let everyone know that even though I was not able to attend this skiing trip, my husband and 2 of his friends did go. After staying in the cabin for 4 days, my husband came home and told me all about his stay. I arranged the trip first of all and the owner Justin was very helpful in setting the reservations up. He communicated back and forth with my husband for payment with little to no hassles. On the day of arrival, they had no problem in getting the keys. When they opened the door, they were amazed. It was very clean and very spacious. Well organized and very comfortable and homey. The kitchen provided them with all the needs and facilities of home. For there stay, they were able to purchase breakfast needs and cook them right on site, instead of having to go out every morning. Comforts of home. Bar stools were provided for them or a table to seat everyone. The couch in the living room was very comfortable and allowed them to relax and watch a little TV when needed. My husband noticed a lot of up grades to the house. He said the floors were done and a few other things. Justin kept the place well looked after as if it were his own home. The upstairs housed 2 rooms. The main room had a larger bed to sleep two, and the other rooms had 2 separate beds. Although these are not like your home beds, my husband said that they were comfortable. The place was very well heated and seemed to retain the heat quite well. Believe me after a long day on the hills you want to come home to a warm house. The thing that drew us to this property the most is it was great priced but more than this it did not have all those antiques all the other places we looked at did. I am not sure if it is something that Vermont does, but WOW, too places had too many antiques and the colors of the walls and bedding on other places, I have no idea what they were thinking. This place was clean, with no antiques and huge comfort with everything you need for a great weekend get away. Justin, please do not change a thing about your place. Chris and his friends enjoyed their stay very much and will be coming back for years to come. Thank you for the great service and for providing such great accommodations to us as well as to others that stay there.
