Oceanfront Majestic Estate Compound on 3 Elevated Acres
Thanks for your interest in SUNNYBANK, our 3 acre oceanfront estate
compound.
Our turnkey Outer Banks Majestic Estate includes all the Toys, Kayaks,
Surf & Boogie Boards to make your holiday with us the best ever!
We run a Friday to Friday week in order to save you wasted hours in
the weekend traffic. The entire island (400,000+) turns over on Sat &
Sun and is funneled into 2 roads. You'll coast in on Friday, do your
shopping and be hanging around the pool while the other 400,000 are
stuck in traffic.
This home is located only 2.2 miles up the beach in the four wheel
drive territory of Corolla and less than 10 minutes from the Food Lion
shopping complex offering unlimited shopping, restaurants, bars, golf
and a movie theater. The local gas station/convenience store can be
accessed in less than 5 minutes.
Rated Best Undiscovered Beach on East Coast with the most spectacular
Ocean to Sound views imaginable. True oceanfront living tempts you to
enjoy wild mustangs grazing in your own yard, star lit walks along the
beaches, waking up to the surf and exploration of the Sound in a
relaxing environment.
Amenities include elevator, large heated salt-water pool, Kiddie pool,
2 hot tubs, gourmet kitchen and so much more. Seclusion with easy
accessibility is the main ingredients for this fabulous mansion. But
most of all you stay with us will help you forget how to work and
remember how to play and have fun again.
Best wishes for a Great Outer Banks vacation and we'll look forward to
hearing from you. I'll be happy to give you a holler if you have any
additional questions after looking over the web site.
Sincerely,
Karen & Mike

The Outer Banks of North Carolina is a family beach vacation
paradise! The area boasts a beautiful shoreline, two of the East
Coast's largest sand dunes, 4 famous lighthouses, museums, water
sports, great shopping and a plethora of restaurants, not to mention
great fishing, wildlife and the land where flight began, The Wright
Brothers Memorial!
Things to do: Locally, you may want to visit the Whalehead Club at
the lighthouse, a turn of the Century hunting "camp." It's a
restored mansion from the glory days of the great hunt camps of the
gilded age. Tours are given daily. Right next door, the Currituck
Beach Lighthouse is also open for tours. There's a lighthouse,
keeper's cottage and a bit of the old Corolla village.
Call me about day trips that can keep you busy all week. We even
have pontoon boat sound trips, a great half day Wine Tasting trip on
a pontoon boat that takes you to Knotts, across the sound.
If you're in the mood for a beach drive, the Virginia border is a 14-
mile jaunt North. Drive carefully; the beach is visited by sea
turtles, seals resting on their migration, etc. Dolphin sightings
are common; whale sightings are much less common.
You will know when you've made it to the border. We can't get a
straight answer as to why, but the border is fenced, and crossing is
forbidden! Some kind of dispute between NC and VA? As recently as
the 80s, a portable casino plied its trade right here. When the Feds
came up the beach on a raid, the locals would hitch up their tractors
and drag their rec. hall to the safe side. Those were the days.
