Our beautiful NON SMOKING log home was built in 2006. It is a comfortable and relaxing home. Located five miles south of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, in an open meadow surrounded by wooded mountains; this is a winter wonderland you will want to experience. The P and J Getaway is 30 minutes from Schweitzer Ski Resort, 30 miles south of British Columbia, Canada and 22 miles from Sandpoint, Idaho.
The 1,700 square foot home has a living room, dining area, kitchen, utility room, two bathrooms and three bedrooms including a large master bedroom with a beautiful view. Our home sleeps six with twin beds in each of two bedrooms and a king bed in the master bedroom. It also has two cots for added sleeping arrangements. It is fully furnished and ready for you.
Cross-country ski, snowmobile or snow shoe from the doorway. A covered deck in front is perfect for putting on skis, snowshoes and extra outerwear. Snowmobile trails abound in the national forest and Snow Creek Recreation Area, 5 miles from our home.
Our 10 acres are the perfect feeding ground for moose, elk and deer. This getaway is a perfect outdoor recreation area that is easily accessible and close to shops, fine restaurants, many local artisans and the Kootenai River Cassino. It is also a perfect place for total relaxation.

The kitchen is fully equipped. We have a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher, refrigerator and oven/range. Dishes, glasses, pots and pans and all cooking, baking and eating utensils are provided.
The dining area seats 6-8 with additional seating at the bar. The bar is hand-made from a single log and is beautiful as well as comfortable.
The living room is equipped with a TV, DVD/VCR player and CD player.
The 3 bedrooms have comfortable mattresses, pillows, sheets and warm blankets. There are also 2 cots for additional sleeping. Bathrooms have towels, liquid soap and toilet paper. You will bring your own personal items for showering/bathing. A hairdryer is provided in the largest bathroom. This bathroom has a two sinks as well.
Well behaved pets are welcome.
There are no telephones but we are located in an excellent cell phone service area.
There are a washer and dryer in the utility room. Detergent is provided.
