Little Sycamore sits on the bank of New River in scenic Giles County
Va. A stone's throw from the river, with boat access area, visitors can fish, canoe, or tube from the cottage. For a longer trip, put in at the Eggleston Bridge, and float back (7 miles), taking out in the front yard.
20 minutes to Blacksburg (shopping, movies, restaurants and Va Tech), 10 minutes to the Cascades, magnificent waterfalls at the end of a moderate two mile trail.
