Was leary due to the other review but found the house very comfortable and clean. It's a large house with a beautiful kitchen. Fridge was a side by side and I am not a fan of them but we made due. Everything was in good working order. We spent the week with my parents and my brother and his family and there was plenty of room. The house is very close to the beach & it's easy walking to restaurants and town. Easy back and forth with little kids to and from the beach.

We've rented in Cape may for many years and this house is far more modern then some of the other houses that are more expensive.

The one room could have used more furniture but had a very large closet so we were fine. My favorite room was the single in the third floor that had a beautiful view and very comfy furniture.

Recommended for: families with young children, families with teenagers

Summer Rental

The rooms were all very comfortable, especially the bedrooms. We were 11 people which included 6 children all under 12. The house however, was not very clean nor well maintained. There was an accumulation of dust on the stairs, lamp shades, around the washer and dryer and numerous spider webs throughout the house. When looking for a lost item in the family room sofa, we were disgusted with the junk under the cushions. The stove was full of grease as well as the griddle pan. The Weber gas tank was totally empty and no advice of where to have it filled. Both gas and charcoal grills were encrusted with grease and no gas to burn it off on the gas grill. There was a broken chair in the kitchen. In the children's room, there was a broken light fixture and the TV was not working at all. Out of the 5 TV's in the house only 2 were working and with limited channels. The electrical plate was missing in the kitchen and the 3rd floor bedroom. All 14 trash cans were overflowing with refuse and recyclable items.
