Vacation Rental Description

Treetops is a unique and magical property perfect for groups of 
friends, colleagues or family.  Treetops was originally built on 
stilts at the beginning of the twentieth century as a tea house for 
ladies, and sits upon the top of its own hill in Provincetown's East 
End, surrounded by private gardens, with breath-taking views of 
Provincetown Harbor.  

Treetops still retains the Arts and Crafts characteristics of its 
original use, including a large central Great Room with beamed 
cathedral ceiling, working fireplace, and a wrap-around interior 
balcony.  Off of the Great Room is a 40’ long glass-enclosed porch 
with views of the harbor.  It is tastefully and comfortably 
furnished, including period antiques and Provincetown art.   

There are four bedrooms; three with queen beds and one with double, 
as well as a much-coveted double bed on the second floor loft, and a 
library/TV room.  The second floor has two loft 
spaces; the front loft has breath-taking water views and includes a 
deck perfect for watching sunsets over the harbor.  Residents have a 
choice of two dining locations; either in the Great Room or on the 
enclosed front porch.

The property is surrounded by wooded conservation land and includes 
a beautiful garden and grape pergola with garden furniture and BBQ 
grille.  The grounds include an outside shower for post beach rinse-
off.  Laundry facilities are located in a shared utility room. 
Parking for up to 4 cars are no problem. Treetops is a three-story 
property with the main house on the second and third floors above 
two separate apartments.

Access to the harbor beach is directly down the driveway and across 
Commercial Street - about 500' way.  The gallery district begins two 
blocks away, and the heart of Provincetown is a ten to fifteen 
minute walk. 

Vacation Rental Amenities

The large, fully appointed kitchen invites several cooks to stir the 
broth, and is complete with dishwasher, gas stove, microwave, food 
processor, coffee maker, and full dishware and cookware for large 
gatherings.  There are two half-baths and a large bathing room with 
shower and double Jacuzzi in the window overlooking the garden.  The 
property comes complete with stereo and CD player, TV with VHS and 
DVD, and cable TV.  Treetops is also equipped with (wireless) WiFi 
internet service.   

Vacation Rental Rates

Summer Season: June 14 through September 20: $3,800 per week.

Spring and Fall: $2,500 - 3,000/week, shorter stays possible
