Blue Moon in Chincoteague Island

This classic Victorian home has been totally rehabilitated for 2008. This home is
undergoing even more improvements in 2009, to include an al fresco screened in dining area!

The kitchen is new, new baths and painted in a classic white to
accentuate the wonderful trim accents. Central HVAC, the great room
has both dining and lounging facilities, 2nd fl den with daybed for reading or
playing games.

Sleeping = two queen bedrooms, two twin beds converted to a king (they come apart as well, with convertible bedding in place) and 3 full baths.

A screened porch off the kitchen for outside dining and a screened porch that
has a view of the undeveloped protected marshlands.

Situated on a quiet end of town, close to a boat launch and a great seafood
vendor, both within walking distance. A short walk to Maddox
Boulevard, 1 of 2 main concentrations of eateries, taverns and
shopping. The street has bike paths that will take you 10 minutes to
enter Assateague preserve. There is also a scenic walking/biking
trail just minutes from the home. A nice yard for the kids to play,
private off street parking and outfitted for your every vacation
need. Blue Moon offers an affordable beach vacation.

3 bedrooms, two queens and a King (2 twins) with 3 full baths. New kitchen
and baths, totally rehabbed for 2006 and the Victorian trim will
knock you out. New or painted floors and subtle tones immediately
calm you and remind you your on the Eastern Shore, slow down and
relax. The kitchen is beyond nice with everything you will need to
cook for any occasion. Relaxing living/dining great room off the
kitchen, deck off the kitchen or sit on the screen porch and just
chill!

Central HVAC, screened porches, backyard is a safe area for children
with waterfront only 1000 yards away, go down to the community boat
launch to crab, visit the protected waterfowl area across the street, playgrounds at the school, short walk awayor hike/bike the trails and it is in a quiet neighborhood.

Chincoteague Island and its close brother Assateague National Park
were voted best beach for wildlife by Travel and Leisure Magazine. A
top pick for birdwatching, waterfowl and upland game hunting,
fishing of all kinds and of course the famous wild ponies, this
resort is a sleeper. The town is family oriented, with wonderful
dining and drinking establishments and a pristine uncrowded beach.
The town has plenty for all to do and many easy day trips like the
Ocean City Boardwalk are but a short drive. Visit Tangier Island,
Cape Charles, Onnacock and some of the other Cheasapeake towns or
experience the local sites like the decoy museum, the wildlife
tourism center or the national park. It has all the normal beach
town stuff too, mini golf, arcades, boat tours but it will surprise
you with its active fishing boat fleet, its many parks and the fresh
local seafood.

Off Season weekend - $600 3 nights or less
Season week starts 6/13 and ends 9/11- $1350 which includes maid fee.

Pet Fee $75 + $100 in extra security deposit.
Maid fee is $75.
All fees are subject to 10% VA rental Tax.
