Spring/Summer Non-Holiday (May 1 - September 30): $150 per night (2 night minimum); $750 per week; $1200 per month

Summer Holidays (May 24-27, July 3-6, August 30-September 2):  $175 per night (3 night minimum)

Awesome slopeside condo

One word to describe this unit: awesome. You literally put your skis on and ski out the door to the lift. The unit is extremely spacious and Very clean. Everything you need is right there for you, from pots, pans and plates to towels, linens, extra pillows and blankets. The condo accommodated my family of five easily. The owner Shirley is fabulous to deal with, had every detail worked out and everything went smoothly. We did Not want to leave! We are definitely going back!

Great location

We enjoyed our fall getaway at Shirley's Winterplace condo. The condo was clean, comfortable, and had all the supplies needed for a home away from home. There are enough towels, but they're a bit skimpy. It was decorated very nicely and the furniture was comfy, too. A discount card to use at Shaw's is in the kitchen. There's a Red Box located at Shaw's and the instructions for using the DVD player were very good. Although the condo was probably built in the 1980's, it's been properly maintained, and a variety of updates have been made and more are planned.

Shirley was very prompt in answering all inquiries and returning the security deposit. Her dining suggestions were spot on. We were the only ones in the building for two of our four nights and it was VERY quiet every night...don't know what it would be like during ski season. Saw 20+ wild turkeys out the back door one morning.

It's in a convenient location to tour many areas of Green Mt, including Woodstock, Coolidge historical sites, cheese factories, VT Country Store, Morgan horse training farm, hiking trails, and more. Restaurants in Ludlow were very good. We especially liked the food at DJ's and the early bird specials, 5-6 p.m., at Sam's.

Some things that other renters may want to know:
Shirley mails the key prior to your trip so adequate coordination is needed if this isn't your first stop or if you want to rent near your travel date.
The parking lot isn't paved (it's a ski resort) and you can't park directly in front of the unit. It's about 200' from the parking lot to the unit.
The unit is downstairs, but plenty of light comes in the windows on the back side.
Inside there's one step down near the kitchen. We put a nightlight in the hallway so that we wouldn't forget about the step down.
The shower in the 2nd bathroom is about 30X30".

We would stay there again and recommend it to others that could navigate the stairs and don't need a large 2nd shower.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing

We rented this condo and were very happy with it. Its location can’t be beat - from the condo you could throw a snowball and hit the lifts. The condo is well appointed and spacious. All the mountains amenities are right outside your door. Important to note: this is a first floor unit – just open the back door, step into your skies and start skiing – it’s that easy. Shirley is great to do business with being very attentive to all the details, right down to helpful dinning options in the area. Truly enjoyed this rental !!!!
