Beach Dome 2. This is oceanfront property with a breathtakingly gorgeous 4 story geodesic dome located on the north end of Topsail Island, between Jacksonville and Wilmington, North Carolina. 3500 square feet with 6 bedrooms and 4 baths.

Walk out the doors to the covered 2 story decks, along the private elevated walkway over 100' of stable dunes, down the steps and you are on the wide Atlantic Ocean sandy beach.

You have all the comforts of home - but home never felt or looked like this dome! A vacation dome designed especially for multi-family groups, large families (like grandparents and parents and kids and grandkids) or 5 to 6 couples. The dome has many private spaces in which to retreat along with a 2 1/2 story living/dining room and an open kitchen area large enough to accommodate several cooks and foster togetherness.

Inside The Beach Dome, you'll view the ocean through a 40' panorama of huge triangle windows-- or from the skyloft 55' above the ocean.  The open living room has 3 love seats and 2 spacious window seats for reading, napping, sleeping or watching the dolphins play on the waves.

Enjoy meals on the 10' x 30' covered upper deck or inside at the dining table for 10, the 4+ person 1950's diner booth, or the 3 diner swivel stools at the kitchen counter.

The dome sleeps 16+ people. It has 6 private bedrooms, 5 of the them have wonderful ocean views through large windows.  There is also an upper floor family/TV room that sleeps 2-3 with a couch and a pull out "trundle" bed. The family room also has views of the ocean and the sound. The third floor main bedroom has a Jacuzzi tub with an ocean view and a 3rd level deck with panoramic views of Topsail's soundside and Intercoastal Waterway. Two of the bedrooms on the lower floor have doors opening to the lower covered deck. This deck has stairs to the upper deck and a walkway over the dunes with steps directly down to the beach. There are 4 full baths (3 with showers, 1 with tub).

The 4th floor pentagonal skyloft has a 360 degree view of everything, and a hammock.

The kitchen has everything: all kitchen cooking/eating items, micro-wave, dishwasher, portable pancake griddle, 2 electric coffee pots, large storage pantry.  Full-size washer and dryer. 4 cable color TVs with DirecTV, 2 DVD players, 3 phones (free long distance in USA), stereo/AM/FM/CD player, internet service (in season).  Sheets, pillow cases and blankets are provided (towels are not). Iron with ironing board.

Toddlers high chair and playpen. Baby gates at both the up and down stairs on the main living floor.
