The Waterhouse on the Mill Race Stream in Salem

Our Beautiful Craftsman built home was constructed in1901!  The land it sits on has the Mill Race Stream running through the grounds. This creek was constructed by the City of Salem, to turn the turbines that power the Woolen Mill back in the mid 1800s, since named Mission Mills Museum. This Museum is across the street from the old Salem Railroad Station that is still in operation today. Across from there is the beautiful Willamette University campus. The oldest and most prestigious college in the Salem area.

We are located in SE Central downtown area where you can walk to restaurants, coffee shops, and to the Capitol Buildings and parks. Our home is in a neighborhood with tree lined streets, with houses ranging from 1860's to 1950's. Our home is very comfortable, clean and very well cared for.

Our home offers to you 3 bedrooms, 1 bath with a large jetted tub. Ajoining it is a Jack and Jill dressing room with dresser, sink, and laudry shoot. This is an ideal space to dress and wash up, when some one else is using the restroom.

There is a huge country kitchen, with stainless steel counter tops.   It is equiped with a gas range, dishwasher and full size refrigerator.  A screened on back porch offers a view of the patio and gardens. Very relaxing with morning coffee!   Front load washer and dryer, as well as some exercise equipment are available for use downstairs.

Vineyard and Wine tasting tours, Parks and public gardens, several golf courses, Saturday Market, Movies and theaters, Salem Riverfront Park with the Salem Carousel and Gilbert Children’s museum. Wonderful dinning, Self guided covered bridge tours, Antiquing, Willamette University, Oregon Gardens, Music in the park, and many activities during the summer. Great locations for family get together weekends.

Nightly base rate is $150.00 a night for the first 4 people. Plus $10.00 per person per night extra. 

Weekly rate is $1,000.00

Monthly rate is $3500 +/-

Cleaning/restocking Fee $75.00 +

REFUNDABLE security/deposit $300.00 or $150.00 withdamage protection policy

10% city/state lodging tax
