We stayed with a party of 15. The two units were great. The owner was honest and responsive. All units in the complex are privately owned and well kept. Okaloosa is a great island. Beaches are almost as good as Siesta Key (best in the world). Price is much less. Destin is just far enough to easily get to and get away from.

As the Reviews state ; the photos dont do this Penthouse justice.

Most of the time, the pictures give a better image than reality. In this case, the pictures do not do this condo full justice. Nicely decorated, very comfortable. I've visited Daytona, Sarasota, Ft. Myers, Jacksonville...overall, this (Ft. Walton) was the best.

I don't travel much, so was completely "green" to condo rentals. Bill (the owner) was very helpful--communication was great!
We had a large family group that stayed in this condo for the purpose of having a beach wedding. It was a very nice, roomy unit on a really beautiful white beach. From the front balcony, we had a view of the Gulf and the beach. We were a little nervous about how other residents would feel about us taking over a part of the beach for the wedding, but they were very receptive to it. Several people even pulled their chairs close, while others watched from the balcony. It was really nice!
There was a variety of stores within a short distance, and a wonderful fishing pier just down the road.
Would highly recommend this property to anyone, but especially someone on a budget traveling with a large group. Nice, large unit at a very reasonable price.
Recommended for: Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
