Nice Clean Studio, Great Location

Review submitted: August 22, 2014   Date of arrival: August 15, 2014

My wife and I rented this studio apartment for a 4 day stay in San Francisco to finish up our California honeymoon. When we arrived we were very pleased with the accommodations, lots of room for a studio and the owners had provided a nice booklet of sightseeing and restaurant recommendations. The location was fantastic, close to public transportation that took us to Fisherman's Wharf, AT&T Park for baseball, and close to one of the Big Bus sightseeing hop on hop off stops. Pacific Heights is a beautiful neighbourhood and if you don't mind walking 10-30 minutes you can get to great restaurants and pubs on Polk Street, Lombard Street, Union Street, Fillmore Street and Fisherman's Wharf. You are also only a 10 minute walk from California Street where you can ride the California/Van Ness cable car very close to Chinatown.

Setting up the payment and getting the keys from the owners was a positive experience that was very convenient and low maintenance. All done via email and quite straightforward. My wife and I enjoyed our stay here very much and when we go back to San Francisco we will definitely be trying to book accommodations here again.

Tip for anyone flying into or out of San the booklet that is provided in the suite there is a Super Shuttle that picks you up and takes you to the airport, was $29 for 2 people...a great deal!

Thanks Linda and Larry for a great accommodation to cap off our honeymoon, we'll hopefully be back soon!

Great choice!

Review submitted: December 15, 2013   Date of arrival: December 7, 2013

This was a great choice to stay in SF for a week. The description/pictures were accurate, the location was fantastic. All of the amenities were there, we didn't have to request anything. Everything was lined out clearly in a folder with extra information about the area provided. We were very happy with the stay. The extra fold-out bed worked well, and was easily put away every morning. It happened to be very cold in the Bay Area when we first arrived, but the heater worked to perfection and there were plenty of warm blankets. There was coffee already there, thank-you, and I would certainly recommend this. The price was just right, I was delighted to get so much more than a motel room, and for a much better price. This was convenient to all the places we wanted to see whether we walked or took the bus. I have one thing to caution about, but I would caution anyone about this who is visiting SF. Don't rent a car. I didn't, I never would in the city, but there is really no parking to be found.
There are stairs, however, so you must be able to negotiate those. One more thing, when I told someone where we were staying, they said, "Oh, that is a noisy street." We never heard any noise, and slept well every night.

Great Place to Stay in SF

Review submitted: July 22, 2012   Date of arrival: June 21, 2012

This vacation was in celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary and I searched for just the right place and this seemed to be the one. We were not disappointed. As a matter of fact, we were very pleased! What is shown in the pictures is actually what there is....nice. This is an exceptional place to stay. The location is very centralized to most attractions in SF and very convenient to transportation. It was so easy to get to and from the Wharf area. One big question is, is it easier to walk uphill or downhill?(haha) At first we thought downhill was easier but after a couple of days, we were undecided, LOL. The neighborhood was pleasant and very safe. This studio apartment was clean, spacious and quiet. The mini fridge was great! Even though pots and pans were provided, along with all the other kitchen supplies, the only source of cooking was a microwave (but who wants to cook while on vacation anyway?.... especially when there are 4500 places to eat in 7 sq miles!). It was a very nice place to call "home" after a long day of site-seeing. The owner was very welcoming, informative and provided extras that no hotel would offer. I would definitely recommend this place to everybody looking for accommodations in SF. We had a great time!
