5 Bedrooms in the Center of the Village in Lake Placid

"In the heart of the village" location of this house makes this house a perfect choice for your vacation. You are at the walking distance of most of the amenities in the village of Lake Placid, just minutes from the both lakes. We are centrally located, 5 minutes walk from Main Street and only 10 minutes walk from the skate rink and only a 5-minute walk from the starting line of Ironman. Minutes to the beach and the center of the Village. The house is in the quiet street near the park. You don't need a car during your stay because the village of Lake Placid provides a free shuttle service to the ski slopes of the Whiteface mountain as well as the free shuttle bus in the Village.

The house is recently remodelled with hardwood floors, ceramic floors, countertops and slate backsplash in the kitchen. The kitchen is very well equipped. Living room has wood burning stove/fireplace, sofa, comfy chairs, TV, DVD, VCR, Stereo, Internet Access, ...

Master bedroom has one king-size bed, the others have twin or double beds. Linens and towels are provided. All bathrooms on the second floor have radiant heat (worm heated floors - nice!).

All utilities, parking, taxes, etc. are included in the price. There are no extra or hidden fees.

Cleaning Fee is $150 per stay. Minimum stay is 3 nights 

Payment Details
All rates are in US Dollars, payable by Check, Credit Card or PayPal .

Our Policy
Our policy is "first come - first served" regardless of the duration of the stay. The house is not officially reserved until the full payment is paid. The full payment must be made in full by the date specified in correspondence but generally 3 to 6 months before the vacation start date. If the full payment is not paid by specified date we have the rights to cancel your reservation. 

Reservation and Security Deposit 
The Owners will send an electronic invoice for the rent Security Deposit via email in the amount specified in the email (usually $200 but depends on other factors as well). This deposit will reserve the house until the date when full payment is required. Only upon the payment of the full rental payment the reservation will be complete on behalf of the guest. If the full payment is not made by required date we have the full rights to cancel the reservation.

Cancellation 
The cancellation by the guest with a warning of 120 days or more prior to the beginning of the stay, implies that the deposit will be returned to the client in full amount minus the "cancellation fee" of $100. If the cancellation is made with less than 120 days prior to the beginning of the stay, these further payments will be made 50% of the agreed rental price. If the guests do not make the full payment by the required date then no security deposit will be returned upon their cancellation. The guests will not have the right to any reimbursement if they interrupt the holiday and leave before the established departure date.

Return of Security Deposit
Release of the rent deposit is subject to the provisions of State Statues and as follows:

• No damage or deterioration to the premises, building(s), or grounds is evident.
• The entire dwelling, appliance, closets and cupboards, are clean and left free of insects, the refrigerator is clean, and all debris and rubbish has been removed from the property; the carpets are cleaned and left odorless.
• All keys have been returned.
• The rent deposit will be returned to the clients no later than 7 days after the clients have vacated the property.

There will be a Late Check-Out Fee of $25 for all check outs that are after 12:00PM (2 hours late).
