The Hemlock House at Lake Harmony: Fun for All in Lake Harmony

Why stay at a crowded hotel?...This cozy 1 bedroom cabin (with an additional pull-out sofa bed) comfortably sleeps 4. Centrally located, this cabin offers privacy and convenient accessibility to all the Pocono splendors. Off street parking for two cars available in private driveway. Enjoy the stunning lake view off of the front deck or the tranquil forest from the back of the home. There is a new heat/air conditioning system for comfortable inside living. The master bedroom faces north to the woods with a sliding glass door that gives you access to the deer and wildlife. The deer are so gentle, they often eat corn directly from your hand! Amenities include a cable flat screen television, stereo, dvd player with a variety of movies supplied. YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN SHEETS AND BATH TOWELS. The master bed and sofa bed both required queen sized sheets. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, microwave, electric stove, toaster, blender and a coffee pot. The house is also fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, and glasses. The living room has lofted cathedral ceilings, a ceiling fan, a sleeper sofa, and sliding doors that open out to the lake-view deck. No smoking permitted in the house whatsoever! There is no house phone so bring a cell phone, if possible.

House has a wonderful view of Lake Harmony from the gated front deck where you can sit and relax or cross the street and walk in the water at the boat ramp facility.

Kayak and canoe rentals are available in the area and the HICKORY RUN STATE PARK is nearby which is a great place for hiking, viewing waterfalls and swimming.

When the lake is frozen, partake in ice fishing, snowmobiling, hockey, and/or ice skating. 

Big Boulder Ski slopes are less  than 1 mile away.

Indoor water park at the Galleria in Split Rock is just 1/2 mile from
house. Bowling lanes, movie theater, arcade and mini golf all also available in Split Rock

Split Rock golf course is less than 1/2 mile from house and the
NEW Jack Frost Course is only 5 miles away.
