I love going to Chincoteague.

Review submitted: May 20, 2011   Date of arrival: August 8, 2010

"I've been coming here since I was a baby. I wish I lived here. I love renting this house because it has a great view of the lighthouse and the bay, plus all the boats going by. Also I really, really love going crabbing on the dock. This year the crabbing was great!! We caught about two dozen and they were delisous."

I enjoyed everything!

Review submitted: May 20, 2011   Date of arrival: June 7, 2010

"Especially the park. I always beg my parents to go to the park. I love spending time with my family. This is an experience for my family." --Tara

"It's true what my 6 year old daughter says. It is a true, blissful, not to miss EXPERIENCE! The lighthouse blinks at you at night. The cottage in the morning is so warmly enveloped with the emerging dawn. The garden has inspired us budding gardeners. Every year our family watches it take shape. This year the rosemary has really bushed out. And the roses over the fences in the backyard are beautifully brilliant. Where do we sit and enjoy? The front is a panorama....the back a sweet work in progress."

What a wonderful respite

Review submitted: May 20, 2011   Date of arrival: November 18, 2009

"My husband and I enjoyed the opportunities to watch the water ripple through the marsh grass and the sun skimming along the landscape throughout the day, changing the colors of the shrubbery, grass, and water. We love the coziness of the cottage --great places to curl up with a book and a cup of tea.

The cottage had everything we needed. We particularly appreciated being able to enter the cottage via the ramp since my husband uses a walker.

Somehow we didn't hear the famous rooster. We would have loved to have heard him since we each grew up on farms in Kansas and North Carolina.

We are leaving with our spirits renewed by the beauty of Chincoteague."
