The Love Shack in Keuka Lake

The Love Shack is a Victorian cottage constructed in the late 1800's by avid fishermen. The gingerbread and porches were subsequently added in the early 1900's. It is ideally located between the quaint villages of Branchport and Hammondsport at the widewaters of pristine Keuka Lake. This cottage offers you the respite you seek in the renowned Fingerlakes!

We offer a wonderful Cape Cod style outdoor shower w/ hot and cold water(we have one inside also),a 6x60 permanent dock with a 16x16 platform to enjoy the lake. Plenty off room to dock a boat. There is a romantic upper porch off the master bedroom and a 12 x32 front porch that is open to the wade in beach.

The Love Shack is secluded in a nice cove so that you have more privacy than most cottages and it is easy to keep your eye on the kids when they are enjoying the walk in beach the swim float or paddling the kayak.

Charcoal grill,firepit, 7x8 poly-raft,kayak,fully equipped kitchen,two covered porches,cozy living room with pullout couch,master bedroom with queen bed and walk out upper porch,second bedroom with futon double bed and bunk,large beach area,basic cable and internet,parking for two-three,TV with DVD, stereo(I-Pod capable) docking for your boat!

The Waterfront Restaurant is only a mile South of the cottage and closer is a bait shop/gas/mini-mart/boat launch called Jake's, the Keuka Yacht Club is virtually next door so you can enjoy the sailboat races from our dock and porches. The wineries abound and Dr Franks is directly above us off Middle Road, Heron Hill and Bully Hill are just South of Dr Frank's.

Hammondsport is about seven miles south of the Love Shack and has restaurants, a bar , breakfast spots and a grocery.

we rent on a weekly basis(usually Sat to Sat) from mid-June through mid-September as we are not winterized
