Casa del Sol appropriately named for its sunshine location is in the desirable Las Palmas – Little Tuscany neighborhood near downtown Palm Springs. The recently updated four-bedroom retreat includes stunning southwest views of Mt. San Jacinto.

Enter into this desert abode passing the large olive tree and bougainvillea through a heavy wooden door and experience the comfortable appointments in eclectic styles and warm color scheme with modern amenities. The sky light in the foyer exposes the many characteristics of the home and beyond with terra cotta tiles and exposed brick walls in a natural grey hue.

The great room is the perfect room for tranquility with the original fireplace accented with a modern flat screen TV as the focal point, exposed beam rafters, and hardwood floors. A large kitchen is a chef’s dream for culinary creativity showcasing the colorful artisan-tile backsplash as inspiration. Adjacent to the kitchen is the breakfast room with direct access to the lanai and pool. The sun room has been transformed into a formal dining area with similar rustic accents and direct access to the lanai for outdoor grilling and dining al fresco pool-side.

The living quarters are comfortably furnished with similar structural characteristics and located on either end of the home. A spacious master bedroom is featured including an ensuite bath with dual vanities and private patio. The 2nd master suite includes clerestory windows exposing the nature light and exterior landscape also with ensuite bathroom and private patio.

The two additional bedrooms at the opposite end of the home are comfortably appointed within the charming rustic walls and high ceilings. The two bedrooms share a hallway bathroom.

Adjacent to the kitchen is the media room with a flat screen TV and direct access to the pool area.

Guest can indulge poolside taking in the views from the raised spill over spa surrounded by fruit trees. At night, star gazing is a must sitting around the fire pit. Additional renovations to the 1937 home were designed by renowned architect E. Stewart Williams, who also designed Frank Sinatra’s previously owned Twin Palms Estate, the Palm Springs Museum of Art, and the impressive Chase Bank building on Palm Canyon Drive and Ramon Road, as well as other significant work in Palm Springs. The charming residence includes rustic Mexican architecture with a blend of mid-century including a low terra-cotta roofline.

Weekly rate is the best deal. Call for weekly rate pro-rated for shorter OR last min. stays. Rates subject to change without notice, and are higher for Holidays, Weekends and Special Events.

Additional Fees

RESERVATION DEPOSIT BINDS: $500 and up, converts to a security deposit upon arrival. Security Deposit is refunded in a timely manner minus the utility fee.

Utility Fee: includes gas & electrical charges incurred based on actual usage.

City of Palm Springs TOT tax: 11.5% of the total rental rate, cleaning fees, pet fees and utilities. No tax on stays over 28 days.

Cleaning Fee: $250, regardless of how many guests or how long you stay*

*Mid-stay Cleaning fee: Monthly Guests are required to have 2 cleanings per month. Average mid-stay cleaning fee is $100-$200.

WOOF-WOOF Pet Fee:  $150/dog. We gladly accept well-mannered dogs under 50 lbs. Sorry kitty, kitty...no Cats allowed :(
