Relaxed comfort. Set on charming one lane Waterway, with waterviews from every room, and a wide front porch, vacationers enjoy our inspirational view of Narragansett Bay and Saunderstown villege. Listen to the waves, fog horns, or sails luffing in quiet serenity. Watch local and migrating birds from the kitchen windows in this park like setting. Country furniture geared toward comfort, two cable flat screen TVs, wifi, a cupbpard full of family fun games for rainy days, outdoor grill, large lawn for sunbathing, lawn games like croquette, or a kiddie pool make this a nice place to be. Convenient laundry room washer, dryer, sink, and folding table. Linens and bath towels, lawn chairs and more provided. 1 Bedroom on first floor. Handicap accessable.

Quiet, country like Saunderstown is close to routes 1A and 138, the Jamestown Bridge, 4 miles to Jamestown, 12 miles to Newport's museums, restaurants, theatres, shopping, and night life. Roughly 7 miles to the historic villages of Wickford, Wakefield, and Narragansett. Restaurants, fisheries, shopping, surfing and water sports, hiking, night life and all sorts of activities abound. Visit art museums, a nationally acclaimed zoo, summer theater, outdoor music festivals, Waterfire in Providence. Go kayacking, or spend an afternoon in America's oldest lending library (Opened when George Washington was 18! No kidding!) , historic museums, and much more. RI is a wonderful state for arts, sports, and entertainment! WE'VE GOT IT ALL!

We are delighted to offer beautiful Wister House, south throughout the year; short term, weekly, and vacation rentals are available.
Our 'regular' folks are already inquiring about summer 2013 weeks!
Throughout the summer season, rental periods begin at 3 pm on Saturdays, to check out time at 11 am Saturdays. Through the off season we are able to be more flexible. Rates vary according to season. Please enquire.
Off season rentals are $250 per night - 2 night minimum.
Summer rentals, holiday and vacation rentals such as Columbus Day weekend, Thanksgiving, all winter holidays, etc. are $300 per day or $1900 per week.
