This charming Non-smoking beach house is located just one block from Ocean drive, a one minute walk to Pelican Pond (a 1/2 mile stretch of walk ways and park with both a basketball court and children’s playground) and a seven minute walk to the beach. This is a very quiet area and one of the more desirable residential neighborhoods near the beach.  It includes three bedrooms, two full baths, a well-equipped kitchen, spacious living room, a front and back patio, large backyard with sunbathing area, and a circular drive which could accommodate three vehicles. The sun-drenched living room features an expansive picture window in the front of the house and large sliding pocket doors leading out onto the back patio.  The master bedroom and one of the guest bedrooms also have patio doors that lead out to the back patio. The house has newly painted walls, new windows and patio doors, newly refurbished Terrazzo floors and comes fully furnished and provisioned (dinnerware, kitchen utensils, etc.). A central air-conditioning unit is included and the entire property is professionally landscaped and maintained.

The kitchen is brand new and includes state of the art stainless steel appliances – a five burner range, convection oven with warming drawer, micro/convection wave, dishwasher, and trio door 25cu ft refrigerator with water and ice dispenser.  The countertops are granite and all of the cabinets are a new white Palm Beach shaker style. There is ample storage space for all the groceries you may need during your stay.

The dining area features a large table with a leaf and four chairs. It can easily seat six.

In the living room, large panoramic windows and a large beige U-shaped sofa invite you to relax.  A coffee table, flat screen television, and small entertainment center (cable and DVD player included) complete the ensemble.

All three bedrooms are of a generous size and include ample closet space. Two of the bedrooms boast a queen size bed and the other a full size bed. Two of the bedrooms have patio doors that lead to the backyard and all rooms have a generous source of natural light during the day from the large windows.

There are two bathrooms in the house; one is located in the master bedroom, with a large shower and rainfall shower head, double sinks, toilet and medicine cabinet.

activities and attractions in Juno Beach Atlantic Coast South

Juno Beach is located in Palm Beach County.  It’s a twenty five minute drive from West Palm Beach Airport (PBI) and about an hour and fifteen minutes from Ft Lauderdale Airport (FLL). It’s also a two and half hour drive to Disney World on the Florida Turnpike and a two hour drive on I-95 South takes you to Miami.

Juno Beach is centrally located and close to many fine and casual dining restaurants, numerous shopping plazas, leisure, and entertainment venues. On foot, you will find several restaurants within walking distance (Cathy’s Beach Connection, Reef Grill, Captain Charlie’s, Juno Beach Fish House, and Kee Grill), a church, a CVS Pharmacy, as well as the Juno Beach Town Center which is only a block away. At the bottom of the street, you will find a beautifully landscaped walking path around Pelican Pond. It provides a great opportunity to exercise or go bird watching. A one-mile running loop surrounds this pond and Town Center. Also, by the pond is a playground for children, several fountains, benches, a bocce ball court and a half-basketball court.

Unquestionably the best feature of Juno Beach is the pristine 3 mile stretch of sandy beach. There are multiple access points to the beach and all are within walking distance from the house. Within a two minute walk you will be at Pelican Pond and a five minute walk from there will take you to the sandy beaches. At the beach you can fish, kayak, surf, wind surf, sail or just relax and sunbathe. A bit further north (about a mile walk or a short drive,) you will find the Juno Beach Pier, a major surfing and fishing spot. About half a mile north of the Juno Beach Pier you can see all of the beach parks in Jupiter. The beaches in Jupiter are dog friendly, so if you have pets you can bring them to the Jupiter Beaches. The beaches in Juno are NOT pet friendly, but you can easily take them to the Jupiter Beaches by heading a mile north.  Ocean drive, which is at the bottom of the street from the house, provides a beautiful walking path along the Ocean.  Many people jog, bike, rollerblade, or walk along Ocean Drive.

Kayak, scuba, and boat rentals are readily available at any one of the numerous marinas and dive/surf shops in the vicinity. Go snorkeling or scuba diving at Coral Cove Park, only fifteen minutes to the north or take a tour of the Loggerhead Turtle Museum.  If you feel like staying ashore, check out the nature trails at Loggerhead Park or Dickinson Park.

By car, you are a short drive from PGA Boulevard, which takes you to the upscale Gardens Mall, restaurants, and world-class golf courses. Within five minutes, the Legacy Place downtown center and Garden’s Mall offer shopping, restaurants, and a movie theater. Only ten minutes away, you can access Donald Ross Road and the Abacoa Town Center, which is close to several golf courses and great restaurants. Twenty minutes to the south, you will find City Place in West Palm Beach, another bustling spot for restaurants, bars, clubs, movies, and shopping.

The best aspect of Juno Beach is that you can take in the sun and the sights of nature without leaving behind the fun of city life.

Juno Beach House

Dave (Cardinal, Virginia, United States)
Review submitted: August 31, 2011   Date of arrival: May 29, 2011

We have now stayed here twice. It is convenient to everything Northern Palm Beach County. The walk to the beach is a couple blocks on a nice paved walkway. The lake/park is also very nice. We enjoyed the roomy house, which was recently redone inside and out. Restaurants are nearby and there are many. Gardens Mall, Downtown, movies, are all close by. We will stay here again.
