Charming boating and fishing riverside cottage in New Port Richey

The watterfront cottage is located in a gated culdesac with 3 neighbors. Many updates to furniture and decor in neutral colors, southing to the soul, were done in Dec. & Jan. 2010. The bedroom has a king bed with exquisite pillow top mattress, and queen sleeper in living room. Kitchen is fully equipped with dishes and cooking utensils with a breakfast bar. Dining area is in the living room. There is a flat screen cable TV with numerous movie channels, dvd, and stereo for your pleasure. Wireless internet is provided. Bath has a tub shower combination and linens are furnished.

The cottage is located on the "Pithlachascotee" River in historic New Port Richey.(see new port richey and west pasco websites) You may take a leisurely stroll to town for shopping, resturaunts, and night life or to Sims Park and boat ramp or Cotee River Park. A boat dock is available for your use. Bring your own or rent from several marinas nearby. The Gulf of Mexico is about a 15 min. boat ride from the dock. Robert K Rees beach is within 2 miles. Tampa and Bush Gardens is a 45 min. drive. Visit Orlando and Disney in 90 min. Snorkel with the manatees in Crystal River, about 1 Hr. Visit the Sponge Docks in nearby Tarpon Springs. If you would rather stay in, there is plenty to do. Fish from the dock, one of our favorite pass times, or have a relaxing BBQ on your private patio. Sit poolside or dockside, absorbing the beauty, and watch the dolphins and manatees swim by or the abundant bird life that visit us. We have bicycles for rent. Any questions or concerns, feel free, we are next door.

 The back door opens directly to the fenced backyard where the pool is located. There is not another fence around the pool. We welcome familys, but if you have small children who may exit the cottage without your knowledge this may not be suitable for your family. There is a fence with a gate leading to the dock on the river.

Deposit: $300. Security deposit and 50% of rent due at time of booking. The balance is due 60 days before arriving (monthly rentals). $100 Weekly and daily rentals. Balance is due 30 days before arriving.

Cancelations: 60 days notice required for monthly rentals.  A 30 day notice is required for weekly and daily rentals. In order to receive a refund, we must re-rent the cottage for your booked time. We will make every effort to do so as we would like to see you another time. You may check our calander for booking conformations.The deposit will be forefited.                                                     In the unfortunate event you must cancel, please be assured that every attempt will be made to rent the cottage during the time frame for which you have booked. On the successful completion of a new rental for your booked time, we will happily refund your money (less deposit). If the cottage is rented for a lesser time or value however, you will be refunded the difference.

I suggest trip insurance

Cleaning: MONTHLY; Depending on the condition of the cottage upon check-out a $50. to $100. cleaning fee will be charged. A three month stay will be $100. This will be deducted from your deposit. WEEKLY AND DAILY; cleaning fee is $35.

Damages: Any damages will be discussed with you prior to or at check-out and either deducted from your deposit or you will have the option to replace or repair at your expense.

Utilities: Cable, internet and water furnished. Electric is furnished up to $175. Any amount over $175.00 in power is monthly renter's responsibility. This does not apply to weekly renters.
