This charming 2 story log cabin is set on a private, secluded road 11 miles off Highway 84. The living area and kitchen are located on the first level with bedrooms and full bath upstairs. One bedroom has 2 queen size beds, the other bedroom has one queen size bed. This cozy mountain retreat is the perfect setting for much deserved rest and relaxation.

Many activities can be done from the cabin - i.e.: birdwatching, hiking, and fishing (access to the Upper Blanco River is included in the rental). The town of Pagosa Springs offers a wide variety of activities if you feel the need to get off the porch! Some of the activities are: white water rafting, hot sulphur springs/spa, Wildlife park, horseback riding, rock climbing - just to name a few.

$500 deposit due upon reservation in form of cashier's or personal check. Balance due upon check in with cash, personal or cashier's check. One week minimum.

*$200 non-refundable pet deposit due at check in.

*$200/week heating and firewood (winter months) surcharge due at check-in.

Rustic Retreat

A rustic retreat, furnished with some cool stuff, in one of the most beautiful areas in Colorado. Wildlife everywhere from deer, turkeys, grouse, elk and bear. The barking squirrels kept our little dog busy by teasing her and running up the trees. She loved the place. The caretakers and owners were great and everything is in the cabin that you need; however, you probably won't spend much time in it other than to eat, shower and sleep. Also, there is a separate gym and sauna building on the grounds. Hike the numerous trails in the area to some beautiful spots. Go and have fun, we did! It does take about 45 minutes to get to Pagosa Springs from the cabin, but the views on the drive are worth the little extra time. The owners also have several other properties to choose from in the area.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet-friendly, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Wow! What a beautiful place. The cabin was perfect for the 4 of us. Everyone was friendly, the property was clean, well maintained, and the owner and his family are wonderful people. The care taker was always wiling to help out, and even helped my husband land his 6-7 lb rainbow trout! We can't say enough about our vacation. Our pictures are up on facebook, and we have recommended renting from The Harvey's to everyone who will listen. The decor in the cabin is beautiful. Furniture is of a rustic/Santa Fe style. Pagosa Springs is less than 30 minutes from the cabin and offers dinning, a rodeo, an art fair, fishing, hiking, shopping and tubing on the San Juan river. Durango is only an hour away and well worth the drive. Fishing at the cabin is OUTSTANDING!!!! Several ponds on the property offer excellent fishing and the Blanco River is just steps away!!!

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet-friendly, sight seeing, romantic getaway
