Vacation Rental Description

Silversands: a four bedroom two bathroom lakeside villa,located in 
the peaceful gated community of Colonial Point in South Fort Myers, 
Florida. A truly imposing family home with a fully screened private 
pool and spacious living accommodation provides the ideal base to 
explore the beautiful Lee Island Coast on Southwest Florida’s Gulf 
of Mexico.

Vacation Rental Amenities

The spacious open plan living area includes a large lounge with wide 
sliding doors leading onto the extended pool deck and has panoramic 
views over the lake. The lounge is equipped with Cable TV, VCR and 
DVD. There is a separate dining and breakfast area. We also have high speed internet access.

The spacious kitchen is equipped with every convenience including; 
cooker, microwave, large fridge/freezer with automatic ice-maker and 
chilled water dispenser, dishwasher, electric kettle, coffee maker, 
toaster, etc. A washer, dryer, ironing board and iron are located in 
a separate laundry room.

The master suite has a queen size bed, dresser, Cable TV, walk-in 
wardrobe, and access to the pool through patio doors. The en-suite 
bathroom has twin vanity unit, large walk-in shower, bath and 
separate toilet.The second bedroom has a queen size bed and a walk 
in closet.The third and fourth bedrooms each have twin beds.

Activities and Attractions

Some of Fort Myers and Sanibel’s most impressive features are the 
miles of stunning coastline and the white-sand beaches. All the 
beaches as classed as family friendly with their calm waters, gentle 
slope of the sea’s bottom and easy access.

Watersport rentals provide everything from jet skiing to 
paragliding. Bring your rods and reels to the famous free fishing 
pier or take a stroll around the beach shops, bars and restaurants 
centred around the lively “Times Square”.

It is only a 15 minute drive away to the causeway that takes you to the 
tropical island paradises of Sanibel and Captiva.  
Tranquil and unspoilt, with over 400 different species of shells that find 
there way to the shores.  

South Fort Myers boasts over 50 public and semi-private golf courses 
and according to statistics compiled by the National Golf 
Foundation, the area has one of the top holes-per capita rankings. 
New clubs and renowned established courses compliment one another in 
what many affectionally refer to as the “Golf Coast”.

From large shopping malls to quaint local shops and famous stores, 
Southwest Florida has shopping options to suite every taste and 
budget. Head for Naples 5th Ave for designer boutiques, or try the 
Periwinkle Drive area of Sanibel - home to unique jewellers and gift 
shops.

Over one hundred barrier islands make up the Lee Island Coast 
forming some of the most beautiful wildlife sanctuaries and marine 
preserves. Enjoy these natural delights on foot, by pedal power, 
narrated tram tour or join a guided kayaking group through the 
gentle coastal estuaries, rivers and back bays.

Six Mile Cypress Preserve provides a 2200 acre sanctuary for birds 
and other wildlife or  stroll along the 2 1/4 mile boardwalk at 
Corkscrew Swamp which takes you through the largest remaining virgin 
bald-cypress forest.

Perhaps you would prefer the shaded hiking trails of Caloosahatchee 
Park before moving off-shore to explore Pine Island’s Aquatic 
Preserve and kayak through the mangroves, or maybe take a trip to 
Sanibel’s famous J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge and 
discover the widest variety of birds, reptiles and mammals in 6600 
acres of natural habitat.

Fort Myers is also homes to the Edison and Ford Winter Estates, 
located in 14 acres of botanical gardens on the banks of the 
Caloosahatchee River.   

For groceries, you have a selection of stores within easy reach 
including Publix's only a 2 minute drive away to Sweetbays a 5 
minute walk away.

January through to December $1300 per week (£685 per week);

Xmas/ New Year & Easter $1345 per week (£725 per week)

Electric pool heat: additional $140 per week (£75 per week)

Rates inclusive of all state taxes and end of stay clean
