vacation rental description
The 2 bedroom apartment is located at Via I Rampa Superiore #10 in the small, picturesque town of Monte San Biagio, just one hour south of Rome, and about an hour north of Naples. Recently restored, bright, simply furnished and decorated with an oriental flair, the apartment has a surface area of about 600 sq. feet, and can ideally welcome from one to five people...perfect for a couple with kids. It consists of an open living room with new sofa bed, kitchen and dining area, 2 bedrooms (with a double tatami bed with new mattress in one bedroom; the 2nd bedroom is a tatami room with mattress), one bathroom, and a covered patio. The apartment has a refrigerator/freezer, one gas stove and electric oven, two electric heaters, sheets, towels and blankets. Shops, markets, bars, and pharmacy are all within 5 minutes walk from the apartment. Just a 20 minute walk to the train station of Monte San Biagio or a 5 minute bus ride, and a direct 65 minute hourly train ride brings you to the main station in Rome (Termini) for about 12 euros round-trip. There are less frequent trains to Naples from Monte San Biagio. The panorama from Monte San Biagio includes the Ponzi Islands, Sperlonga, farmlands, Lake Fondi, and the mountains on a clear day.
