Log Cabin on Lake Butte des Morts in Oshkosh

The log cabin was built in 1996 and situated on Lake Butte des
Morts.
It is 10 miles from the airport in Oshkosh ( pop. 62,000) and 8
miles from the small picturesque town of Omro which is on the Fox River.
The cabin has 3 bedrooms with a large loft overlooking the living
area. It has
an open concept kitchen and living room. There is a double bed in
the loft
with a sitting area. The three bedrooms downstairs include one double
bed, one single bed, and one
3/4 bed. It sleeps six comfortably. There are also 2 couches and an
air bed if
needed.

Microwave, stove, and refrigerator for cooking.
A kettle grill is outside along with picnic table and lawn chairs.
There is also a screened in seating area outside. The dock is about
100 feet long and has a seating area for fishing.
Shower in the bathroom.
Wood stove and electric heat in 2 bedrooms in case it is needed.
There are ceiling fans in all bedrooms along with several other
fans. There isn't any air conditioning.

Located on Lake Butte des Morts it is connected to Lake Winnebago
by the Fox River. Lake Winnebago is one of the largest inland lakes
in the world. Fish are abundant but there are few boat rentals available.

Willow Resort which is about 11 miles from the cabin
The cabin is secluded at the end of a private drive. The lake area
that the cabin is situated on is quiet. Oshkosh has many art shops,
museums, a beautiful zoo, parks, and shopping. It is the home of
the Experimental Aircraft Association and the EAA museum. It is also 20
miles from Appleton and the Fox River Mall which is the largest in
Wisconsin.

Rates are $525 for a 4 day rental or $850 for 7 days. There is a now a
4 day minimum
rental. The rental period is from May 25th to September 10th. It can
be rented earlier or later if weather permits , but may require
some heat. Rental for the Experimental Aircraft Association
Convention for 2009 is $1500 for a 7 day stay for 6 people.
