Welcome to the ultimate view of the Nubble. This new vacation home looks directly across the street at the famous Nubble Lighthouse with the beautiful Atlantic as its background. Stroll over to Sohier Park and take in the fantastic views of sun and surf on the picturesque rocks. While there, you might want to enjoy the fare at Fox's Lobster Pound or walk up the hill to enjoy a treat from Brown's Ice Cream. Walk to York's Long Sands Beach and enjoy miles of surf and sun, or venture to Short Sands Beach also sun and surf and featuring an Arcade, the famous Goldenrod taffy restaurant, Summer bandstand (gazebo) with live entertainment as scheduled. Alongside is playground right next to the beach. There is the Wild Kingdom Zoo and Amusement Park, plus many shops and restaurants. Both beaches are a short distance away.
For your mobile pleasure, South on Route 1 is the very popular Kittery Outlets Center. A bit further is the popular town of Portsmouth for shopping and enjoyment. We are one hour from Boston South; 45 minutes North to Portland, and about one hour to L.L.Bean in Freeport. There are all your needs and wants along Route 1 - grocery store (Hannaford), gas stations, restaurants, pizza, ice cream, Chamber of Commerce, famous Stonewall Kitchens with jellies, salsa, mustards, etc. - for fun sampling and buying. North on Route 1 are antique shops. Wild Willie’s Burgers and Flo’s Hotdogs are along the route. A short distance is the famous Ogunquit Playhouse.

This home has 3 floors: First floor has 2 bedrooms w/full size beds and 1 bath. The washer/dryer stack unit is also on this floor, along with some counter and sink area, couch and cable TV. There is a porch the full length of the house. Second floor has 2 bedrooms w/queen size beds, 1 bath and full complete kitchen with the main great room area looking out onto the scenic Lighthouse. Also a cable TV and internet access and DVD. The deck has the grill and tables with chairs that overlooks the Lighthouse and surrounding areas. The third floor has the commanding view of the lighthouse and ocean views. It has a sofa-bed, if needed; cable TV, and a full bathroom.
Each floor has telephones for local calling only; alarm clocks, ceiling and floor fans, pillows, blankets and spreads. Kitchen has all your needs, including lobster pot, coffee makers, toaster oven, vacuum, dirt devil, etc. A supply of paper goods will be provided; plastic bags for trash containers. Dish detergent and some cleaning products will be provided. You would be required to bring your own sheets & pillow cases; other bedding provided; in-house towels will be furnished.
Utilities and cleaning service provided.
Refundable $300.00 security.
7% State sales tax required.

Start your morning with a cup of coffee on the front deck overlooking the Nubble Lighthouse and see the rising sun over the picturesque surf of the Atlantic Ocean. In late afternoon enjoy the reflection of the sunset on the Lighthouse.
Walking and biking are very popular to and from the Lighthouse. Children love to climb the rocks at the point looking at the Lighthouse on its own island, seeing the tide levels, beautiful coastline, lobster boats, and the surf against the rocks which is one of Maine's best sights to see. Relaxing and impressive. It's one of an artist's favorite spots.
There is golfing, sightseeing, surfing, sailing, shelling, antiquing, fishing and more! Our Chamber of Commerce is nearby and can provide you with many of the contacts.
