 Welcome to the Retreat at Villa Lago, located in the newest development in the  community of Sandestin. Sandestin is a 2400 acre gated community, located in Destin Florida, between Pensacola and Panama City. Our home overlooks the 2nd hole of the Baytowne Golf Course. There is a lake right behind our house that separates the house from the golfers. Sandestin offers everything you would want on your vacation. The beach, pools, shopping , dining, golf , tennis, biking, Kayaking. And you can access all of it , by taking our golf cart or our bikes, which are included in our rental

Our home is a mediteranean style home, with 3 bedrooms , all with private baths, and a half bath off the foyer. The master bedroom is truly a retreat in itself. It features a King size bed, with designer sheets and conforter, a large bath with jacuzzi tub and separate shower and a sitting area with a 32 in flat screen tv. There is a large walk in closet and a patio off the bedroom with chaise lounges to relax and look out on the lake. Windows surround the bedroom . The 2nd bedroom also features a King size bed, and flat screen tv and large private bath. The 3rd bedroom features 2 twin over twin bunkbeds, a private bath and a flat screen tv. All the bedroom tvs have built in DVD players.

Downstairs, the large entry has a desk and chair for you to put your laptop and access the free Wireless Internet, away from the Living area. There is a half bath off the entry as well.

The Living/Dining/Kitchen area is a large room on the back of the house, with an outside patio and gas grill. The living room features a 50 in Plasma tv with surround sound and HD programming. There is a selection of DVDs for your enjoyment . There is an ipod dock to play your favorite music, which you can listen to from speakers on both patios and bedroom area. There is a comfy leather sectional to curl up on and nap or watch tv.

The Kitchen is fully equiped to cook your favorite meal, with four barstools, the dining area has a farmhouse table that seats eight.

You can sit outside on the patio and drink your coffee in the morning, and see the fish jumping in the lake and the ducks and herons and turtles. At night you can sit outside and relax and look at the stars and the moonlight glistening on the lake.

The beach is only a short golf cart ride away, with a pool on the beach, and  a restaurant. Baytowne Wharf, a shopping/dining/playing village is right around the corner on the Bay.There are restaurants, shops, playground, bungee, rock climbing and zip lines . There is also a Starbucks coffee. The Sandestin marina has boat rentals , jet ski rentals and kayaks. The tennis ctr. is world class. There are 4 golf courses for you golfing pleasure and lots of lakes, where you can fish.Also accessible with our golf cart is The Grand Boulevard, a shopping/dining ourdoor mall with upscale shops like Orvis, J. Jill, J.Crew , Coldwater Creek, and a ourdoor area with fountians where your  kids can play while you to sit and relax. There is a Publix Grocery Store , and you can grab what you need , put it on the golf cart before you head back to the house. Also, right beside the grocery is Kilwins ice cream shop, so dont forget to stop there.

This is our second home , so we have equipped it so that our family and guest will have everything we need for a great vacation. We have already made some great memories here, we hope you will come and make some of your own.
