This loft is perfect for a visiting professor or executive who wants to enjoy nature but be near work.
View the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz and Marin’s Mt. Tamalpias. Walk to Redwood Park (with 35 miles of pristine hiking trails) and charming Montclair Village. Drive or bike to the Berkeley campus, less than 4 miles away. Drive to downtown San Francisco, just twelve miles away. Enjoy spectacular sunsets each night from home.
Newly constructed (to the highest earthquake code), it features a fully stocked kitchen with granite countertops, oak cabinets, gas stove, and dishwasher. Its very large bathroom features a marble bath/shower, granite counters, washer and dryer.
The property features a waterfall and pond, small creek, Japanese gardens with exotic plants, grass flat yard, organic vegetable garden, a variety of roses and slate patio with teak furnishings. Nestled in the trees on a hillside, peace and privacy are guaranteed. You hear only the birds in the morning and the deer visiting the creek each night.
Amenities include weekly housekeeping, high speed wireless Internet over the entire property, an HDTV with Comcast cable and premium channels. Heat with individual room control for maximum comfort. For an additional small fee, our housekeepers can shop for groceries when time does not allow you to do it for yourself.
Furnishings, such as a larger queen-sized bed, can be adjusted to fit your specific needs. The office can be easily converted into a comfortable living room for extended stays. Towels, down bedding, silk coverings and plush robe are provided. Also includes basic toiletries and household products such as soap, shampoo, detergent, toothpaste, Kleenex and paper towels.
All utilities are included in the fee. Owners (childless couple) live in the main house and are committed to your comfort.
