BadaBeach! in Galveston

Our condo has been thoughtfully designed and professionally decorated with quality fixtures, furniture, bedding and utensils.  It was fully renovated in November 2007 and  has amenities most others do not.  It was completely refreshed after Hurricane Ike as well.   Our one bedroom condo is located three miles west of 61st Street, and is close to beautiful beaches.  We welcome you to stay with us and visit  historic Galveston Island.  Make this your retreat for weekend getaways, spring and summer vacations or whenever you need a break!  

Our condo is located on the Seawall, top floor, front section area location, with a fabulous view of the gulf, lake and what's left of the fishing pier!

We have a custom gourmet kitchen, fully renovated bathroom with a large shower with grab bars, a high riser toilet, high sink too!

One bedroom with full dresser, queen bed, and tv, a flat screen tv with DVD player (in living room), cable, tiled balcony with furniture and so much more! Relax on the balcony and listen to the gulf, see the dolphins at play, or just take a snooze with a good book!

Our condo has been thoughtfully designed and professionally decorated with quality fixtures, furniture, bedding and utensils.  The bathroom is handicap assist.  There is a walk in shower with grab bars, a high riser toilet and high sink. For those who may have trouble sitting on the high stools at the counter, a bistro table with chairs has been provided.  Or use it to just enjoy a meal on the balcony!  Our condo is NOT child proof.  We are located on the top floor, have breakable items in the condo, and the bathroom has been designed with higher than normal fixtures. Children CAN NOT climb on the cabinetry to reach the sink.  Please note: Pac and play type cribs will hinder movement in the condo and can cause a safety issue with walking paths.   

The kitchen has granite countertops, self clean oven, microwave over the range, dishwasher, and refrigerator with ice maker.  I have stocked the kitchen with quality cookware, utensils, and small appliances, toaster, blender, etc.   We try to supply the extras for you.....dishwashing liquid, dishwasher detergent, cleaning supplies, paper towels, dishtowels, as well as sugar, salt and pepper. 

The master bedroom has a queen size bed with luxury pillows.  There also is an array of pillows just in case you have a preference.  The lamps have "touch lighting" so just a touch and they turn on or off.  Ceiling fan, tv, clock, hangars, and a full size dresser and closet. 

The bunk bed area present in most condos was changed in ours.  We removed the top bunk.  This is now an excellent storage space for suitcases, cases of drinks, etc.  The bottom bunk is still there, decorated with designer bedding and a storage shelf. 

The living room has a pull out sofa bed, flat screen tv with DVD player, CD player, books, games, magazines, a bistro set, lots of lamps for reading too!

We prefer 2 guests max, but will consider up to 4 on a case by case basis. This includes children and babies. Our goal is to share our condo, not have it as a supermarket style rental unit.  By doing this, we are able to maintain it to our level of quality, condition, and do not hesitate to supply it with brand name and top quality items.  On occasion we may allow 4 people, but it on a casse by case basis.

Our community hosts three pools,  a hot tub, exercise room  and tropical gardens. 

Although we are animal lovers, we do not allow pets of any kind or any size.  Sorry!   Smoking is permitted on the balcony only. 

There is lots to do on the island, Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn, Air Museum, Train Museum, Historic Home Tours, miniature golf, great restaurants, beaches, fishing, etc. Close to shopping, Walmart, Kroegers, Target, etc. A short drive to NASA, Gulf Greyhound Race Park, and, of course Houston!
