vacation rental description
Your family will love the bright beachy colors of this beautifully decorated oceanfront condo. The den features a 42"flatscreen TV and has a balcony which overlooks the oceanfront pool & ocean. This second floor end unit has wireless high-speed internet, a DVD and VCR player, and a CD player. The fully equipped kitchen includes a microwave and dishwasher, and has a separate dining area.
The Master bedroom has a King bed with custom bedding and a pillowtop mattress, and has a private bathroom. The master shares the oceanfront balcony with the living room. There is a 32" flat-screen cable TV in the master.
Bedrooms 2 & 3 are in a separate living area from the Master bedroom (great for sharing with a second family!) Bedroom 2 has a Queen bed and is decorated with a fish theme. Bedroom 3 has two twin beds, and the kids will love the surf theme of this room, where even the ceiling fan is painted like surfboards! These bedrooms share a hall bath and also share a private balcony. Each bedroom has a wall mounted flatscreen HDTV. A full-size washer and dryer are also in this area of the condo.
All three bedrooms have cable flatscreen HDTV's. All beds have great mattresses (you don't want to go home with a backache!) Each bedroom and the living room has ceiling fans.
This is one of two units that has an electric fireplace, great for offseason vacations! This is a no smoking, no pets unit. The other unit that has a fireplace is also our unit. It is equally as beautiful and has a new, original kitchen and all new carpet (and a sleeper sofa). Please email me for photos! Feel free to let the kids roam in this private gated community. D201 overlooks the oceanfront pool, but there is also an indoor/outdoor pool in the center of the complex. (Great for spring, fall or winter when the ocean may be a little chilly!) There is also a sauna and a workout room. Just around the corner from D201 are two new tennis courts. (Bring your own rackets) Enjoy a game of tennis under the lights after a great day at the beach!
Pebble Beach has a private clubhouse by the oceanfront pool, which is great for weddings! There is a new walkway and covered ocean overlook that provides a great spot to relax and read a book, or to just sit under when you want to get out of the sun. The balcony of D201 also overlooks an outdoor grill area which is very convenient if your family enjoys cooking BBQ or burgers.
Feel free to bring your boat, because Pebble Beach provides free boat parking!
activities and attractions in Emerald Isle Atlantic Coast
Emerald Isle has just received national attention for it's new 5 mile bike path (additional pathways are added yearly), which runs by the entrance to Pebble Beach. You and the kids can enjoy biking throughout the island, and down to the Coast Guard Station, or to the Nature park that has a walking trail to Boque Sound. Rent or bring your own bikes!
Just down the block from Pebble Beach are other recreational activities, including miniature golf, batting cages, kayak & boat rentals,a water park with slides, go-carts, bumper boats, a driving and batting range, bowling and arcade, and a movie theatre.
The recently renovated North Carolina Aquarium is on the island, as is Fort Macon, with its interactive tour on Civil War History.
There are several nice golf courses in the area. Historic Swansboro is less than 6 miles away and historic Beaufort is about 30 minutes away. You will love spending the day shopping and eating at the waterfront restaurants in either of these quaint coastal towns.
The Emerald Isle area has numerous great restaurants. There is also a grocery store just a couple of blocks from Pebble Beach resort.
