Vacation Rental Description

Charming Cape Cod style cottage in quiet Manzanita, Oregon which is 
2 hours from Portland and 1/2hour from Cannon Beach on the North 
Oregon Coast.  This rental is a newly furnished, architect designed 
remodel with hardwood floors and lots of natural light. 

The Main unit sleeps 6 in 2 bedrooms plus a loft area. It is 
approximately 1600 sq.ft. The Master bedroom has its own bath with a 
queen bed and a balcony.  The second bedroom has a twin and a full 
size bed and is upstairs next to the loft which has a queen futon.  
The second full bath is on the main floor.  

The main floor has an open living/dining area which looks into the 
kitchen. The kitchen is spacious and has a microwave and dishwasher 
and is well stocked.  There is also an outdoor barbecue on the 
deck.  The large deck extends towards the front of the house and 
provides great views of the mountains to the north and the ocean 
through the trees to the West.  There are plenty of deck chairs, 
tables and a HOT TUB on the deck. The house known as "the Courtyard" 
is a block to town and 2 blocks to the beach and is very private 
because of its design.

For larger groups or if you want extra privacy, the lower "Courtyard 
unit"(900 sq.ft) may be rented only when renting the Main upper 
unit. 
It is a spacious 1 bedroom,1 bath apartment, separate entrance, 
sleeps 2 and has a fireplace, private courtyard and open kitchen. 

Manzanita is a small beach community with shops, galleries and 
restaurants all within walking distance. 

No smoking or pets.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Gourmet kitchen, Hot tub, 2 blocks to the beach, 1/2 block to town, 
Cable TV/VCR/DVD, Sound system, Barbecue, Washer and Dryer, 
Fireplace, microwave, dishwasher, ice maker, Beach Toys and, 
towels/linens provided.

Activities and Attractions

Beachcoming, biking, hiking, golf, boating, fishing, crabbing, 
horseback riding, kayaking, birdwatching, antiques, galleries, 
restaurants.  Nehalem Bay State Park is within walking/biking 
distance from Manzanita. Tillamook with its Cheese Factory and Air 
Museum is 25 miles south of Manzanita. Fishing includes salmon 
fishing, charter boats, crabbing and clamming.  For golfers, there 
are many courses from Astoria to Lincoln City with Manzanita having 
its own public course.  

Vacation Rental Rates

For 2007-2008:

      
  Main Upper Unit:
  
    APRIL SPECIAL: Rent 1 night get the second half off. Rent for 2 nights get the 3rd for free.

  Winter Rates: 
        
  $160 per night:  October - April; $960/Week; (1 night free)
  Courtyard Unit: $100/night extra; $600/week.  Sept-June.

  
Summer Rates:

  $180 per night: May - June and Sept; $1080/Week; (1 night free),
 
  July 1-Labor Day Weekend:

  $1800/Week; WEEKLY RENTALS ONLY JULY 1ST-LABOR DAY 
WEEKEND; 
Friday to Friday rental of BOTH UNITS only.

Courtyard Unit: $100/night extra; $600/week(1 night free).  Sept-June.

Plus: 8% City/State Tax and $70 Cleaning fee- Main unit; $30 
Cleaning Fee Courtyard Unit; 
 
2 night minimum; Holiday weekends: 3 night minimum 

One night deposit plus the Security Deposit is due within 10 days of 
booking.  Final payment is due 45 days before arrival/or upon 
booking.
JULY/AUGUST: $900 is due within 10 days of booking; Final payment is 
due 60 days prior to arival date. 
 
A separate Security Deposit in the amount of $200 can be paid by 
check which will be held or by providing a credit card number  at 
the time reservation is made. The Security Deposit will not be 
charged or cashed  but will be held until the home is checked 
following your departure.  The deposit is refundable providing there 
is no damage, missing inventory, excessive cleaning, laundry or 
garbage.

Cancellations made 30 days prior to reservation are subject to a $25 
processing fee.  Cancellations made less than 30 days before 
reservation will lose the cost of one night. 

JULY-AUGUST: At least 60 days cancellation notice is required to 
obtain a refund of the Deposit,minus a $50 cancellation fee. 
Cancellation made less than 60 days before the reservation will 
receive a 50% deposit refund only unless we are able to rebook the 
reservation. Cancellation made less than 30 days before the 
reservation will receive No Refund unless we are able to rebook the 
reservation.  

Check-in 4pm; Check-out 11am

Prices and cleaning fee subject to change. 
No refund for shortened stays.
