Vacation Rental Description

This large three bedroom apartment is the perfect base from 
which to enjoy the unspoiled tropical paradise that is the island 
of Key Biscayne, only a causeway from downtown Miami yet a 
world away from the city. It is among the choicest units in Key 
Colony, one of the island's most exclusive condominiums.

The apartment is furnished in antique and reproduction Dutch 
colonial pieces, mostly teak. It is appointed with hand-made 
oriental rugs and original oil paintings. Its huge Lanai patio 
overlooks a tropical garden and is not exposed to any noise 
sources, such as roads or swimming pools. Its orientation 
makes it light-filled at all times of the day.

The unit has two walk-in closets, making for easy move-ins. You 
will find a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, 
upper and lower level ovens, coffee maker, toaster, etc. There 
are nice "extras", such as two DVD players, and broadband internet 
access. There is a washer-dryer in the apartment, yet to ensure you 
don't have to keep doing laundry, you will find abundant linens 
(silverware and dishes too). Or if you prefer, just ask us about the 
optional maid service!

The apartment has purposely been furnished for comfort, not 
crowds. So while it is generously sized at 1,800 square feet, it is 
set up to sleep only 5-6 people. The master bedroom is furnished 
with a king bed, the second bedroom with two full beds, and the 
third with one full bed.

Vacation Rental Rates

$475/day* in peak season (December 15 - January 1)

$375/day* in high season (December - April) 

$300/day* in low season (May - November)

*Lower rates might be available for rental periods exceeding 2 
weeks.

A $1,000 security deposit is necessary to reserve this 
condominium, and is held in escrow by Emerald Real Estate, one of 
Key Biscayne's leading real estate firms. Full payment of rental is 
due 30 days prior to arrival. Security deposit will be refunded 
within 30 days of departure, less a $100 cleaning fee. All short 
term rentals are subject to 13% tax in Miami-Dade County.
