vacation rental description
The cottage is well located with a good view of Sir Frances Drake Channel and Yacht Harbour. The covered deck faces the sunset and gentle breezes blow most of the time. A short walk takes you to the historic Coppermine National Park with a gorgeous view of the water and sometimes of whales. Close by are the best beaches on the island. The Baths,(a must for visitors to the carribbean), Devils Bay, Spring Bay, Trunk Bay and Valley Trunk. Also nearby is Spanish Town with restaurants, shops and the harbour for taking a sail or boat ride. Feel free to walk or drive anywhere on the island with friends or alone. Virgin Gorda is a friendly island, with few problems. The government provides desalinated public water and provisions are plentiful in the shops compared to many other islands. The beaches are the best, and sparsely populated. The granite boulders attract fish for snorkeling and the beaches are white sand, blue water, sun and shade.
