Twelve mile Grace Bay Beach was voted #1 beach in the world by "Conde Nast Traveler Magazine". It's powdery, white sand beaches and sparkling turquoise waters will take your breath away. TCI has the third largest coral reef system in the world and was voted best snorkeling site by Caribbean Travel & Life readers.

The Royal West Indies Resort is located on the northern shores of Grace Bay Beach on the island of Providenciales, Turks & Caicos Islands (just 20 minutes from the airport). Royal West Indies is an elegant beachfront resort consisting of 8 buildings with British Colonial design. The resort has 2 pools with kiddie area, bridge, gazebo, jacuzzi, water falls and dipping areas. RWI is know for the most beautiful landscaping in the country. The Queen Ann Suite has a great location in building 2, just steps to the beach and pool. This first floor, end unit consists of 1,004 square feet and is true luxury at an excellent price. The suite has incredible views of the ocean and gardens. It's tastefully decorated with custom made furniture and fabrics. The living room has a large sectional sofa which pulls out to sleep 2 more guests. Twelve foot sliding glass doors open to a spacious wrap-around tiled patio with eucalyptus furniture. The suite also features a fully appointed kitchen with granite breakfast bar, dining area and laundry. The master bedroom is bright and airy with king size bed, caribbean shutters and flat screen TV. No check-in lines, you can be on the beach one hour after arrival.

This destination is perfect for beach lovers, scuba divers, snorkelers, golfers, couples (honeymooners) and  families. Rodales Scuba Diving Magazine voted Turks & Caicos in its top ten diving destinations. Within walking distance is shopping, restaurants, new IGA supermarket, casino and nightlife. From the pictures of the actual building that Fred and Ann's condo is in, you can't tell the beach is right there. But it is and you have a great view from their condo's patio-just a wonderful quiet location but near everything. RWI has the best location and most beautiful grounds on the island. 7/24/10-Positive Rating, Our return trip to RWI with our teenage kids was truly "AWESOME"! We proved to our kids they can still have fun with their parents on vacation. The well equipped RWI "Queen Ann Suite" cannot be beat for location and amenities and their friendly helpful staff. The maid the owners provide does a "great" job. The Hobie sailboats and sea kayaks were throughly enjoyed by all. Fred & Ann's list of island recommendations is very helpful. We went diving, fishing, snorkeling, exploring, dining, sunset watching along with Joe Joe, the dolphin watching, and none of us were ready to leave after our week was up, would like to stay longer next time and there will definitely be return trips to the "Queen Ann Suite"! We all agreed no more Florida vacations, TCI is "AWESOME" Many thinks to Fred & Ann truly great rental experience, so much better and cost effective compared to booking outside of Vacation Rentals. 5/2/10-Positive Rating, The condo was gorgeous and all the extra amenities that you put into the unit were wonderful (i.e.-blender, coffee pot, cookware/untensils, ice). The unit was so well-equipped, so nicely decorated and leaving us a cell phone was so thoughtful. The snorkeling gear & rafts were a definite bonus! We really enjoyed our honeymoon and are looking forward to booking another trip! From the moment we arrived, right up until we left Royal West Indies, things were perfect. The resort grounds are beautiful, the beach and crystal blue water are stunning. 9/24/09-Positive Rating, Dear Ann & Fred, We are now back home after spending a week at your island paradise. We really enjoyed it and The Queen Ann Suite exceeded all our expectations. Your condo is very cozy and comfortable and we felt very much at home. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the beautiful beach so much that we did almost nothing else but turn into beach-bums. We did drive around the island a bit and enjoyed the trip down to Sapodilla and Taylor Bays. The views of Chalk Sound are astonishing!!! The new Graceway Gourmet supermarket was close by and convenient. We would eat a brunch in your condo and then go out for dinner. We ate at Mango Reef and food, service and value were outstanding. The Mango Daiquiri was the best I've ever had and the same for the conch fritters. We also ate at Coco Bistro and enjoyed it very much, a little pricey but well worth it. Great ambiance and coconut and palm tree decor. We went to Tiki Hut on Friday, food was good and the experience was enhanced by a live band playing some old favorites. Stopped in at Pizza-Pizza and ordered a 16" pie, it was outstanding. Great vacation, very relaxing, just a great experience. The staff at Royal West Indies was very friendly, expecially Eddie and Sherman. Your property manager did a great job making sure everything was OK. The only bad thing was having to leave. 6/18/09-Positive Rating, My wife and I spent a wonderful week at the Royal West Indies Resort. RWI has a great spot on Grace Bay on a nice stretch of beautiful beach. The grounds and landscaping are well kept and beautiful, with meandering paver walkways through the resort. There are 2 pools, one with a waterfall and a large spa for times when you don't want to be on the beach or in the ocean. The staff at RWI were very pleasant and very helpful. Eddie and Russell, down at the beach were there for you to answer questions, set up your chaises and umbrella..or even to take you out on the Hobies..at no charge. We stayed in 211 (bldg 2) very close to the beach. We rented this 1 bedroom condo through the owner and could not have been any happier. The owners were easy to work with and very helpful to boot. They have also stocked this condo with almost anything you could need on a vacation to Provo. There was everything from a stereo to snorkel gear. The suite was a very spacious 1 bedroom, well decorated and clean. In addition to the bedroom, this unit has a nice living room with sleeper sofa, a full kitchen and beautiful bathroom. There is maid service once a week (Wednesday) which was fine for us. Should you choose to book this suite, you won't be disappointed. RWI is also within walking distance of a good unmber of restaurants and shopping areas. You can also walk to the Graceway IGA, about a 1/2 mile for anything you might need food wise. This was our first trip to Provo and it was to celebrate our 20th anniversay. We have many happy memories of this trip and Royal West Indies Resort was an ideal spot. We got back about a week ago from Provo and I’m just getting around now to writing up my trip report. We stayed at RWI in a 1 bedroom ground floor unit and it was a good experience all around. I highly recommend the property and this particular unit. We spent every morning relaxing on the patio looking at the beautiful gardens and the partial water view. We were in building 2, which was a good location, close to the beach, pools and restaurant. We really liked how the gardens were designed so that pathways did not cut directly in front of your room—this meant we had good privacy even though we were on the ground floor. Renting privately was easy—everything happened as it was supposed to and we really liked how the owners had maintained this particular unit. Among the bonuses were candles, an Ipod dock, coolers to use as well as well as water toys, rafts and a beach blanket. We had maid service once during the week and I actually preferred not having them come every day so we could relax in the morning and not worry when someone would be knocking on the door. Ann & Fred, the Queen Ann Suite was wonderful! Very warm & inviting, great bed & shower. Beautiful views and we had everything we needed right there. Mango Reef was excellent, loved the escargot and yes Ann the Surf & Turf was our favorite also! This is our 2nd time to T&C, we will return again, it is our favorite! The Royal West Indies grounds are breath taking. Very well manicured, there was always someone around tending to the plants and friendly, too. The pool was clean and very pretty. The beach was absolutely beautiful. You can not beat Provo, Grace Bay Beach. There were always beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and the staff was ready to lend a hand with a smile. The sail boats were in good condition and there were enough life vests for our family of 4. The Queen Ann Suite was clean, well equipped and stocked with toys for the kids, books, movies, cd music, floats, etc. The maid did a great job and was very friendly. The food was wonderful at the Mango Reef. One of our favorite restaurants on the island. We hope to come back again, we loved it so much, our children loved it too. Hi Ann - It WAS a very memorable trip - mostly due to the fine accomodations you provided us. Everything was just PERFECT. The condo is beautiful and in a great spot. I love that you can see the ocean from the patio. The place could not of been cleaner, nicer, or more well furnished. Everything is kept with such great care and we treated everything there as if it were our own home. In fact, we almost did not even need the 'maid' service, but it was still a nice touch to have the clean sheets and any stray sand up off the floor a few times. We did our 4th trip with Capt Bill/Outback for sunset and glow worms -the first time in 7 that we have been on Provo and I finally got to see the glow worms!!!
