Relaxing lake home

RachelGio (Tuscon, AZ)
Review submitted: May 15, 2012   Date of arrival: May 11, 2012

We recently spent two delightful nights at this property and just LOVED!!!!!!!!!!!! it!!! The place is large and very nicely appointed with a fabulous kitchen. The bedrooms are very nice and comfortable. We had many other family members come and spend the evenings with us and found the living rooms comfortable and easy to entertain in. The layout was much better than we could even have imagined. Our biggest complaint is that we weren't there long enough! We didn't have a chance to enjoy the beach. All of us are coming from busy lives and having such a quiet and relaxing place to spend the time was fantastic. We went to a couple of the local shops that were cute and nicely priced, and with such a fantastically appointed kitchen, we made all our meals in the house. We are already thinking we will book here again when the next family event happens.

If you're looking for relaxing and gorgeous, this place is THE PLACE!!!

Wonderful historic home on the lake

We had an excellent time at this property, enjoying the outdoor amenities from the lake access, the beach fire pit, to the backyard overhang deck with grill, which was perfect for grilling out. Indoors, was just as interesting, with the great room accommodating our whole group for evening time as we played records from the house collection, cooked in the modern and delightfully stocked kitchen, crashed on the comfy couches on the seasonal porch, and escaped to so many nooks throughout this interesting and cleverly designed turn of the century home, when it was time to sleep, before getting up and doing it all again! Now that's vacation! With downtown Lindstrom just a block away, it was easy to walk for anything we needed, which consisted mostly of runs to the bakery and the deli! I would definitely recommend the house for your group or get together, I just hope you don't book it when I want to go back again!

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

Wheelchair Accessible...

Review submitted: May 7, 2012   Date of arrival: April 20, 2012

We had an excellent time. We have gone to several different places over the last few years and trying to find a house that is wheelchair accessible can be problematic and many owners tend to think their homes are more accessible than they actually are. Fridhem worked out great for me and everyone else. It just has such a great "feel" to it and made an immediate emotion attachment to all of us. This on top of your commitment to have everything well explained and available made for a great trip.
