Disappointing for the money...

Our family of seven stayed in surf 208 and found it to be spacious with great views. However it is on top of "Wicky's" restaurant and can be noisy. It does not have internet access (you have to go to the lobby).
We also had no phone (they advertised free long distance), no TV in the living room and one of the TVs in the bedroom did not work. The ceiling fan in the living room doesn't work either , we where told it was just for "looks". If you need anything the front desk won't help you because you booked through the owner. Yes, Angie came by, but during the day when no one was in the unit. If you plan on laying by the pool be prepared to wake up and claim your chair with a beach towel by 5:45am. They are all gone by 6:15am. We found this out the hard way and had nowhere to sit. The guys that have the chairs out on the beach rent them out too! If you sleep in don't plan on spending the day by the pool or beach. Your best bet for the money is Xaman Ha. It is half the price the view is better it is QUITE! Plus the beach is better and far less crowded.

Recommended for: tourists without a car

Great location

This condo was perfect for us. There was 9 of us and we had plenty of room. We loved being on the end and the views were perfect. The beach was so close that every morning we would get up and save seats down at beach and come up to make drinks and get a snack. It was really fun to watch the people at the beach from our balcony.

You can not beat the location we walked to everything.. The only time we got a taxi was to go to Alux bar cave (highly recommend). Walmart was a few blocks away which was great. We bought groceries and took a cab back which was about 5 dollars. There was so much to do either shop or go dancing on 12th street or hang out at beach. We are in our 30's and we thought there was plenty to do.

The maids were wonderful and Angie stopped in alot to ask if we needed anything.

We all would come back in a heart beat.. Thank you so much for a great vacation
