The Ocean Manor was the first hi-rise hotel on Ft. Lauderdale's famous Galt Ocean Mile.  Some of you old timers might remember some of yesteryears famous people who frequented the hotel like Jackie Gleason, Frankie Fontaine, Robert Conrad, and Eric Clapton.  And by the way, Johnnie Carson owned the penthouse and frequently entertained Frank Sinatra and the "Rat Pack."  In recent years , sport celebrities like Dennis Rodman and Michael Irvin have been seen at the Ocean Manor. Ocean Manor is still the most famous hotel with its rich and very long history.

Also Within walking distance are great restaurants (American, Greek, Italian, Vietnamese, Mexican, Thai, Subs), McDonalds, Burger Fi, Dunkin' Donuts, a Supermarket (Winn Dixie), ice cream/gelato, chocolate stores, bars and pubs, library, shops, and boutiques.  Right outside your front door is hot nightlife and plenty of sand and sun!  The hotel hosts events at different times.  New Year's Eve fireworks; 4th of July fireworks; DJ hosts and parties in the lobby; and much more. 

Ocean Manor now has FITNESS YOGA & PILATES on the beach by a private instructor!  Have a good time and stay in shape!!

Locally is fishing off the pier, scuba and snorkeling, (there are 2 reefs within walking distance and the dive shop is right there), dive boats, golf, Water Taxi on the intercoastal, as well as other attractions.  Transportation is available at the hotel or use local public or cab service or your car.  Downtown Ft. Lauderdale, shopping, Las Olas, Beach Place, and more are nearby and are hubs of excitement. There are casinos, jai alai and dog racing. Gaming cruises leave from the area and Ft. Lauderdale airport is about 15 minutes away.  We are also right near the famed Water Taxi which will take you to local spots along the intercoastal and downtown Ft. Lauderdale.
