The charming little town of Cedar Glenn is a five-minute walk from your cabin.  It has a few restaurants, a mini-mart, gas station, hardware store, post office and a few cute places to shop.  Lake Arrowhead village is a five-minute drive and has many more shops, restaurants, summer concerts and seasonal festivities, not to mention it is located on the lake.

About three more minutes down the road is the town of Blue Jay.  You’ll find more restaurants, a movie theater, and Jensen’s market with a Star Buck’s, Rite aid and more shops.

As you step into your cozy mountain retreat from our quaint village community, or arrive from your busy life elsewhere, you will immediately notice that your cabin has been Completely Renovated!  The distressed maple floors, the new walls with a beautiful knotty pine wainscot, the ceiling with exposed wood beams- All New!  The tasteful furnishings and immaculate interior design - All appointed to create the perfect ambiance for your cozy, yet chic, get-a-way. 

Curl up in front of an alluring wood-burning fireplace (cowboy TV as they call it), watch cable TV, or choose from an assortment of VHS/DVD’s to watch on your brand new flat screen TV.  The Top of the line Ashley Sofa folds out into a queen bed that is simply heaven to sleep on… and it is right in front of the fireplace and/or TV.  How convenient/romantic is that? 

For your memory making gatherings, the classic 1940’s maple dinning table folds out to seat eight, or enjoy a snack at the bar, lounging on the comfy arrow back swivel stools.

Picture yourself enjoying a fresh cup of coffee seated on your private French bistro set as the gentle morning sunlight greets you through the kitchen window.  Or, if you like, step out onto the deck and recline into the vintage heart-shaped wrought iron patio set, while you unwind in the most serene of surroundings with your favorite adult beverage, or the like.

The first thing you will notice about the kitchen is that everything is at the same time contemporary, tasteful, and designed to make you feel right at home.  From the exquisite Granite Counter Tops to the Newly installed Appliances, and fully stocked cabinets with all the dishes and cookware you will need, your time here will feel nothing short of an epicurean delight.  There are local markets to pick up your groceries or bring them with you. 

There is a brand new, super clean, full bathroom down stairs, just before you go up to the three bedrooms on the second floor.

The master bedroom has an antique frame bed with a brand new queen pillow top mattress, new comforter, extra blankets and pillows.  It has an antique dresser with mirror, a closet with hangers, and reading lamps by the bed.

The second bedroom has an arts and crafts style full bed with a brand new full size pillow-top mattress, gorgeous new bedspread, extra blankets and pillows.  It has new bedside drawers, a hanging wall mirror, a closet with hangers and reading lamp.

The third bedroom sports a new pine wood, medium finished, bunk bed. Each bed is furnished with a single mattress, a comforter, pillows and extra blankets.  You’ll notice an antique dresser with an old fashioned shaving mirror on top, a hanging wall mirror and a closet with hangers.

Downstairs, under the stairs, there is a storage cabinet with board games, some seasonal decorations, pillows and blankets for the queen sofa bed.

Whether at rest or play, you are sure to catch a glimpse of the “locals” as they frolic about in their natural habitat. It’s common to spy a nesting Blue Jay or the red plume of a nearby Wood Pecker. The tiny Chipmunks will delight you as they dash around for acorns, and the Grey Squirrels are always good for an acrobatic show as they fly from branch to branch several feet off the ground!  Be forewarned, the local Raccoons will gladly “recycle” any garbage you leave outdoors. You may spot a Coyote darting in and out of the forest. And though a very rare sight, maybe a Bob Cat or Bear as they head back for the hills.

If you’re here in the winter months skiing/snow boarding and tubing are a 20-minute drive to Snow Valley in Running Springs.  In the warm months there is boating, water skiing etc. at the lake.  There are hiking trails for all levels, star gazing at the observatory and ice-skating year round, just to name a few activities!
