Welcome to Villa Wenona, lovingly designed, crafted and built by its owner!  Just completed in February 2010!  

The majestic property of Villa Wenona sits on a beautiful lawn and wooded ¾ acre lot, yards from the Chesapeake Bay at the southern tip of Deal Island, MD.  Enjoy exquisite sunsets from the comfortable sunroom or the stunning balcony located off the master bedroom suite!

Our brand new home was built to provide comfort and privacy.  On the second floor you will find the master bedroom suite, complete with beautiful balcony, gorgeous views, a queen size bed, sitting area and a private full bathroom with double sinks.  Across a wide hallway you will find a second bedroom, with queen size bed, sitting area and full private bathroom.  Perfectly arranged to share with family and friends.  Enjoy the bay views from the two bedrooms downstairs, one with a full size bed, the other a twin trundle. These comfortable bedrooms share a 3rd full bathroom with large standup shower.  Relax in the roomy living room, watch tv, play games, or simply curl up on the sofa with a good book in front of the large stone fireplace.  The spacious fully stocked chef's kitchen and dining area provides room enough for all your party to congregate and enjoy a fine meal.  Please feel free to play the piano!  Or just sit at the dining table and view the bay through the arches leading to the comfortable sunroom.  The kitchen comes complete with all the necessary cookery to make a fine meal on top of the 6 burner commercial stove.  This grand house provides much room for all our guests to relax and enjoy beautiful, peaceful Wenona.

Wenona is a truly idyllic vacation spot for birding, fishing, boating, canoeing, and kayaking.  We are conveniently located across from Wenona Harbor where boaters enjoy a free public boat ramp.  Going fishing?  Arby’s at the Harbor can outfit you with gear and bait.  Charter a fishing boat in Tangiers Sound for a ½ or full day fishing excursion.   Bring your bike and take a ride to the beach in Deal Island Harbor, a small public beach tucked away near the bridge. Check out the Deal Island Wildlife Management Area where trails are maintained and suitable for hiking, nature photography, birding, hunting and other recreational activities.

Queen air mattress available to sleep 2 more comfortably at an additional cost of $40 per person.

Notes:

• Rental week starts Saturday 4:00 pm and ends Saturday at 10:00 AM
• A $300.00 Security Deposit is required
• Maryland State Tax of 6% will be added to all rentals
• Use of our linens free
• $50 per person over 10 people
• Pets - Well-behaved dogs (max 2), with our approval and a $50.00 fee per dog.

• We accept credit cards and Echecks for your convenience.
