Newer Big Blue Lake Lakefront cottage/home is located on a large private wooded acre lot with 105' of sandy lakefront just 40 minutes from Traverse City. Wake up to the song of the loon and incredible sunrises. Spend your days enjoying the crystal clear water in this all-sports lake that is ranked as one of the cleanest spring fed lakes in Michigan. Pack a picnic for an afternoon on the pontoon boat. Spend your evenings around the campfire overlooking the lake or take an evening cruise in the canoe or kayaks to watch the sunset.
There are two master bedrooms, each with a queen bed--one on the main floor, one upstairs. There is another bedroom upstairs that is a bunkroom with 5 twin beds including a bunk bed. There is also a fold out couch.

Your home would include a complete kitchen with appliances, coffee maker, toaster, and all the essentials including dish towels. 2 bathrooms and a hot outdoor shower
Cable TV (2), washer and dryer, gas grill, fire-pit with beach chairs and roasting sticks.
This home includes use of Kayaks, a canoe, a row boat for fishing, swim raft, life- jackets, fishing rods, paddle board, dock, badminton and other outdoor games. It also includes the use of our large motorized pontoon boat which is right at the end of the dock. There is a boat launch and we have a dock if you want to bring your own boat.

Main floor has a master bedroom with queen bed, living room, dining, kitchen, full bath and covered porch overlooking the lake and large deck with outdoor hot shower.
Upstairs is another master bedroom with queen bed, bathroom, fold out sofa and beautiful views of the lake. There is another bedroom that has 5 twin beds including a bunk bed.

Big Blue Lake is an all-sports lake that is clean and spring fed. You can kayak or canoe into North Blue Lake through a river under a foot bridge that connects a walking/biking loop around the lake. Great fishing, swimming and boating. Public land adjoins the property with excellent ORV trails. This is located in the middle of several great trout streams to include the Manistee, AuSable, and The Jordan Rivers. There is river canoeing, kayaking, and tubing nearby as well.
The home is located in the heart of Northern Michigan. It is close to many unique towns for shopping, restaurants, art galleries, beaches,and bike trails. Also nearby are wineries, casinos, Interlochen, Mackinaw Island, Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, parasailing, Catamaran cruises, golfing, and shopping malls. Nearby recreation includes horseback riding, canoeing and tubing The Manistee River, hunting, fishing, hiking, and biking.

$1,400 per week in May, June, Sept. or Oct. , $1,800/week in July and August. Indludes use of Pontoon boat, kayaks, canoe, row boat, Paddle board and swimraft.
50% down at time of booking. Balance due one month before arrival. $250 security deposit at check-in. Returned after ok check-out.
