New remodel Fall of 2012! This condo got a great new face-lift this year. We tiled the condo with a beautiful lodge-style tile throughout the condo and repainted every room. There are new black-out window coverings, bedding, upgraded mattresses, couch, artwork, and more! It has a great lodge feel now, ready for your family's next adventure!
This is a Ski-in/Walk Out Condo at Durango Mountain Resort (DMR). We have great rates! We have a cozy wood fireplace to snuggle up to after a great day on the slopes! Fully stocked wood available in the winter months.
Durango Mountain Resort is a family-friendly resort. There are many friendly greeters and safety-patrol wanting to assist you. The mountain has great terrain for all levels of skiers. Check out a trail map and find your favorite run! Check out the tubing hill, sleigh rides, snowshoe walks, snowmobiling, nordic skiing, and many more great activities at the resort.
The San Juan mountains can take your breath away in all 4 seasons - take a scenic drive to Silverton or Ouray and see how many times your jaw drops! We are an easy scenic drive of just 30 minutes north of Durango.

Winter Activities: The San Juan Mountains is one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the country. You can walk to the slopes! Durango Mountain Resort (Purgatory) prides itself for being a family friendly resort. Snowboarding, Alpine skiing, and even ski biking are available. Outstanding Nordic skiing is available across the highway from the resort. There are many guide services offering snowmobile, snocat, and sleigh ride experiences.
Dining: The Sow’s Ear restaurant is the favorite fine dining experience on the mountain as well as a great place for a burger. It is located among the Silverpick condos on the way to Durango Mountain resort. The Schoolhouse across from the Needles general store and gas station should not be missed for outstanding pizza and great Durango microbrews. In the summer, there is fine dining on Electra Lake.
Summer Activities: Summer time in the San Juan Mountains is spectacular. A hike amid the wildflowers, waterfalls, and wildlife in the high country is unforgettable. There are numerous trails that will inspire you. Mountain biking is legendary in Durango and during the summer, the high country offers many wonderful trails such as Hermosa Creek Trail. There are many picturesque lakes in the area for public use. Durango Mountain resort offers many family activities including an alpine slide, mountain biking, and chair lift rides. A scenic drive north to Silverton or Ouray known as the Million Dollar Highway is jaw-dropping. There are Jeep tours of mining towns, rafting, fly fishing, and the famous Narrow Gauge Railroad are available. The resort is at 7,600 feet elevation making it usually 10 degrees F cooler than Durango and offers a cool alpine escape from the summer heat.
