Heights Hacienda - Inviting Retreat Off South Congress in Austin

Welcome and thank you for considering our property! Heights Hacienda is a fantastic three-bedroom, two-bath (1600 sf) vacation rental home in the beautiful Travis Heights neighborhood, just a couple of blocks from vibrant South Congress (“SoCo”) and its many restaurants, boutique shops, and premier live music venues. You’re also minutes by car, bike, cab, bus, or foot from the center of downtown and the 6th Street, Warehouse (4th Street) and 2nd Street entertainment districts, the Texas State Capitol, and the University of Texas. The Congress Avenue “Bat“ Bridge, which marks the edge of downtown, is just over a mile away and the Long Performing Arts and Palmer Event Centers, the hike-and-bike trail, Barton Springs and Zilker Park (site of the Austin City Limits Music Festival and the Trail of Lights) are at your doorstep. Heights Hacienda is across the street from Stacy Park, a Travis Heights landmark that practically connects the house with Lady Bird/Town Lake, and which has a great year-round free pool.

Heights Hacienda is a Spanish-inspired stucco garden home with beautiful brick, iron, and tile work in the spacious entrance courtyard with fountain and in the manicured backyard. (Although technically a duplex, the home shares no common areas - the courtyard and backyard are reserved for your exclusive use.) The hacienda “feel” continues to the interior, with tile and hand-scraped hardwood floors throughout and a great room with vaulted ceiling. The furnishings are elegant but were selected with comfort in mind -- this is Austin, after all! (Much of the art in the house was acquired at Art From the Streets, a volunteer-run program that supports and benefits clients of the Austin Resource Center for the Homeless ("ARCH"). A portion of rental proceeds will also go to support their work.)  The Hacienda sleeps 6 guests in its three bedrooms (1 king, 1 queen, and 2 twins) and can accommodate up to 4 additional guests on two queen sleeper sofas. The master bedroom has an en suite bath. Base rates based on 6-guest occupancy.  Please note that there is a 3-night minimum stay on weekends and a 2-night minimum stay for week nights.

2 nights:  $250/night

3-6 nights:  $225/night

1 week:   $1,400

Cleaning:  $125   Security Deposit: $350

ACL 2013 (Oct. 3-7 & 10-14):  $2,200.00 plus tax per weekend.  (6 guests; up to 4 nights)

F1 2013 (Nov. 13-18):   $3,500.00, plus tax. (6 guests; any length stay up to 5 nights)

With the exception of special events (ACL, SXSW, F1), we take short-term reservations only 3 months in advance.
