Barbecue and cocktails on the meny, mixing your drinks and grilling meats with the salty sea breezes; you will feel like this is the best place on earth. Forget the expense to travel to France,  I will vacation in Southern California, in the beachfront community of Oceanside directly on the sand.

Fall asleep to the sounds of rolling waves and wake up to the smell of fresh salt air. Step out on the balcony, down the steps, and feel the sand between your toes. You’ll have a private beach to sunbathe, bar-b-q, roast marshmallows and enjoy a cocktail as the sun sets into the beautiful Pacific Ocean. When your ready for a refreshing swim, catching a few waves or just a relaxing walk along the shore, your just steps away from the cool big blue. This home is an amazing place to stay. There really is nothing quite like the sights and sounds of beachfront living and having a private beach area to enjoy. The balcony is a perfect place to sit and enjoy your morning breakfast or evening dinner as you listen to the waves tossing and rolling in. Take a casual walk along the beach to the Oceanside Pier, make a casual lunch in your own great convenient kitchen and enjoy the beach all day long.
Take the Coaster train from Oceanside to the Fairgrounds in June, or to the Del Mar Races in late July-through early September. Legoland is only 10 minutes away, San Diego 40 minutes to the south, Disneyland is an hour north. Miles of beaches in both directions to enjoy.
