Spacious and Lovely Ocean View Home 15 miles from Hilo in Hilo

Relax in our beautiful and spacious two-bedroom, two-bath house with a large ocean view deck. Our house is on a quiet street that runs along the ocean and has two parks within easy walking distance on the coast. Or even easier just walk across the street to the ocean front lava cliffs and view the whales (in season) and turtles. We are an easy one hour drive to the volcano. There aren't that many live volcanoes in the world, and how many of them can you actually walk around on? The sunrises are spectacular and very private. You will find there are more walkers than cars passing below our lanai.

Our home has beautiful hardwood floors throughout the entire house, large windows in each room to enjoy the view, and ceiling fans in every room. The living room is furnished with Island Style furniture.

This is a fully furnished house with all the usual appliances. The 600 square foot lanai faces the ocean and is partially uncovered to allow both sun bathing and star gazing. The house has high speed Internet. We have free unlimited long distance dialing to anywhere in the U.S.

You are close to many places worth exploring. Hilo has old-Hawaii storefronts, a farmers\flea market, and cultural events (such as the Merrie Monarch Hula Festival and the Big Island Hawaiian Music Festival). And Pahoa with its mix of Cowboy and Victorian character with wooden sidewalks is close by and has some of the best small restaurants in East Hawaii. There is much more to see and explore in Eastern Hawaii — or you can just sit on the lanai, listen to the waves, and watch for whales.

Snorkling at the Kapoho Tide Pools is fun and safe. The Lava Trees Park is also close by and quite a wonder. Day trips to the volcano are a snap.

You won't find a better deal for all we have to offer. We are just trying to share our beautiful home before we move in ourselves in 2014.  The cleaning fee is $100 and your $200.00 security deposit will hold your reservation. Weekly rentals start at $700.00
