navigating past the cannon on the point of the massive compound.

seawall; Hemmingway vintage. No need to take your boat out. The fish
come to you as evidenced by the photos on my walls. Tarpon at
night,nurse sharks, baracuda and just once this year a rare sawfish
was caught from my kayak, 140 feet off the seawall near the mangroves.
Yes, you can catch boring mangrove snapper, but the Florida Keys is
all about catching the big ones that give you a fight. There is
still space for your photo on our walls with your 6' catch.
Anything that swims in the Atlantic swims past this house.
In actuality, the the fish swim circles around this point of land
being a cay.

New central air in the tavern aka "the Man Cave" December 2010  4 central A/C  The house is very big and sprawling.

3 king bedrooms; one with twin beds. 1 queen bedroom  with Jacuzzi bath. All have full bathrooms Very private bedrooms, away from the tavern and great room. The tavern has 2 twins,1 hideabed, 4 recliners for kids to sleep on, or grumpy old men like to sleep there. 2twins in the great room. Total of 6 twin beds....it's a savenger hunt, no clues, you find them.  For large groups there is a Fifth Bedroom apartment/office where my Honey Bear and I stay when we are not on adventure based out of Miami, 90% of the time.  There's a library with 2 more twin beds(daybed trundle) Kitchenette, 2nd washer&drier, queen bedroom &jacuzzi bath. There is a $500 extra charge for the 5th bedroom apartment.

Pay Attention: If the Birthday flag or the Pirate flag is flying,
Authentic Pyrates of Tortugua can be arranged to make a raid on the
house in spite of the protective cannon on the property point!

You will be spending a lot of time in the Tiki Hut, doing nothing.
