This charming country home, cc. 1935, is located on ten plus acres of woods, lawn, and beautiful landscaping.  Just minutes from downtown Asheville, Historic Biltmore Village, The Biltmore House and Gardens, the Folk Art Center, The Blue Ridge Parkway, Chimney Rock, and Lake Lure.  Also enjoy short trips to the Cherokee Indian Reservation and Casino, The Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Mount Mitchell State Park, and the Land of 25 Major Waterfalls.  Asheville is known as a mecca for fine dining, unique attractions and shopping.  Hendersonville, Brevard, and Black Mountain are just a short drive.

The month of July offers Asheville's unique Bele Chere Street Festival, the largest street fair in the Southeast !

The house is tastefully decorated with antique and period furniture, with recent updates to the kitchen, bathrooms, and the central heating/cooling system.  Relax in the large antique clawfoot bathtub.  Lots of comfortable seating in the livingroom in front of a large rock fireplace.  The sunroom offers natural light for reading and relaxing.  The master bedroom suite is located on the opposite side of the house from the other bedrooms.

Relax and dine on the private deck with gas grill, overlooking shaded yard, old redwood gazebo, and small lily pond.  The parking area, entrance to house, and all living areas are located on the same level.  The house is easily accessible from paved roads and is 5 minutes from the supermarket.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary utensils, and includes dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, ice maker.  The washer and dryer is conveniently located in the kitchen area.  All bed linen and towels are provided.  The master bedroom suite has a queen size bed.  The two other bedrooms contain one double (full size) bed each. 

Local telephone and wireless DSL internet service is provided.  DIRECTV satellite TV with all major channels including HBO, STARZ, cable news FNC, MSNBC, CNN, HLN, Weather Channel, ESPN, Discovery, History, etc. and a large selection of children's channels, etc.  More than 150 channels to choose from.  DVD player and CD/STEREO player are also provided.
