Mountain View- Acadia National park in Southwest Harbor

Mountain View is a 3 bedroom chalet style home high on a granite ridge in the trees, with a panoramic view of Cadilac Mountain and Somes Sound.  It's a 5 minute walk to the Island Explorer bus and the village of Southwest Harbor.  If you're looking for quiet, relaxing seclusion, this is the house for you.

The house is perfect for two couples to share.

The first floor has a large deck for sunbathing, morning coffee or reading & relaxing and a fully equiped kitchen.  There is a bedroom with queen bed and bath.  The second floor boasts a large master bedroom with private deck, a small bedroom with bunk beds and another bath.

Rents are by the week from late June to Labor Day.  Pets are accepted at owner's discretion, with additional deposit.

Close to hiking, biking, kayaking and minutes from a fresh-water beach perfect for young children.

The rental fee includes all linens.

Acadia National Park, 5-star restaurants, salt-water & fresh water swimming and beaches, all out-door activities, local summer theater & chamber concerts.

Weekly rates are $975 from late June to mid-July.  $1,250 from mid-July to Labor Day, depending on the number of people.  Additional fees for pets.  Maximum occupancy of the house is 6.  Discounts for longer-term rental and multiple weeks.
