This lovely 4 bedroom, 3 bath home is located on the West Shore of
Lake Tahoe, 1 1/2 miles south of Tahoe City. Located in a quiet
upscale neighborhood, it has a filtered view of Lake Tahoe and is
close to all winter and summer activities. The open beam ceiling
with plenty of skylights and the antique sports equipment displayed
on the walls create a festive vacation atmosphere. The kitchen and
bathrooms are recently remodeled with updated cabinets, tile floors
and new appliances. There are new carpets throughout the house and
new furniture in the family room. The house is situated on a lot
with large trees, a great sled run in the backyard and access to a
trail leading to the Paige Meadows trail complex for summer hiking,
winter Nordic skiing and snowshoeing just 3 blocks away. It is
within 20 minutes of 3 major downshill ski resorts and 2 groomed
Nordic ski areas. The walk to Tahoe City is along the paved bike
path that circles much of Lake Tahoe.

*3 bedrooms with queen sized beds, 2 of these bedrooms have private
baths. The fourth bedroom has twin beds, digital cable TV and a VCR.
Two twin foutons are available.

*Cross Country skiing and snowshowing: 5 minute walk to Page Meadows
trail complex. 10 minuts to Sugar Pine Pointe State Park, 15 minutes
to Tahoe Nordic Ski Center
*Sledding: Backyard (we provide children's sledding equipment), 3
minutes to local sledding hill, 5 minutes to Granlibakken
*Ice skating: 20 minutes to Squaw Valley

Spring, Summer and Fall Activities

*Boat launching: 3 minutes to Sunnyside, 5 minutes to Homewood
Marina
and Obexers, 5 minutes to Tahoe City
*Beaches: Commons Beach in Tahoe City with great children's play
equipment - 1 1/2 miles, Meek's Bay with paddleboats, food
concessions, etc - 8 miles, Sunnyside Beach (small) - 1/2 mile
*River rafting: 5 miles of waterway down the Truckee River from
Tahoe
City to River Ranch - Raft rentals in Tahoe City or bring your own
raft and launch it from the public launching ramp in Tahoe City.
*Bicycling and rollerblading: Rentals in Homewood (5 minutes) and
Tahoe City (5 minutes). Paved bicyle path starts at Squaw Valley,
runs along the Truckee River and follows the West shore of Lake
Tahoe
south almost to Meek's Bay You can catch the path just two blocks
from our home. The beautiful ride around the lakes is 80 miles long
(hint: start at sunrise and go counter-clockwise around lake). Many
off road mountain biking trails.
*Fishing: Fly fishing along the Truckee River, lake fishing via boat
rentals or daily fishing party boats.
*Golfing: Tahoe City (5 minutes) and numerous other golf courses...
see internet.
*Horseback riding: Squaw Valley - 20 minutes.
*Casinos: North Shore clubs (16 miles), South Shore clubs 30 miles.

Christmas - New Year's Week - $275/night - 3 night minimum -
$1850/week

Placer counuty requires that we add a 10% occupancy room tax on to your rent.

A cleaning fee of $150.00 is charged for all rentals.
A $300.00 damage deposit is charged for new renters. This will be
refunded within 3 weeks of stay if there is no damage.

Half the rent is due at the time of booking and the other half 3
weeks prior to rental time.
