A great mountain getaway less than an hour's drive from Downtown Portland. The cabin sits on an aged lot amongst fir, pine and cedar trees. The vaulted ceiling and numerous windows give an in-the-forest spacious feeling while lounging by the gas fireplace. Just outside hear the rushing Sandy River, the call of stellar jays, and the scent of the cedar/fir/big leaf maple forest while relaxing in the hot tub on the rear deck.

The first floor has a large kitchen, dining area, living room, bedroom, and a full bath. And it is equipped with all of today's comforts -- washer/dryer, dish washer, microwave, refrigerator, small appliances (bagel toaster, coffee pot, waffle iron, and food processor). As well as a handsome gas stove to warm up by after a day of skiing. The bedroom has a queen bed and in the living room there is a double hide-a-bed.

The second floor (or loft) has another bathroom (1/2), bunk bed, and double futon bed -- all situated to look out at the forest layers and glimpse of mountain. One step out the sliding door to the balcony and you feel like you are up in the trees. Upstairs also is equipped with a TV and DVD/VCR player -- a well stocked video store can be found less than a mile away.
