Beaver Point Lodge in Croghan

Old Adirondack charm is found throughout the spectacular Beaver Point Lodge. Located on a very private setting on Soft Maple Lake, and situated on a point surrounded by water, Beaver Point Lodge is the ideal get away for family and friends.

Crafted in the tradition of Adirondack style lodging, Beaver Point provides luxurious accommodations, while capturing the essence of a wilderness escape. Enjoy the loon's mystical morning song as you awake to the smell of pines. Canoe miles of undisturbed Adirondack waterways right from your private hideaway. Relax by the fireside, content from your adventures of the day.

The main focal area of Beaver Point Lodge is the great room. The vaulted ceiling and beautiful pine beams cover an area of 20' x 30'. There is a fireplace, a sitting area, a game table area and dinning for 16. The kitchen is adjacent and open to the great room. Off of the great room is a large screened in porch and a large wrap around deck.

There are 6 bedrooms and 4.5 baths including;

• 1 king bedroom with a private bathroom
• 1 queen bedroom with a private bathroom
• 2 queen bedrooms with a shared bathroom
• 2 bedrooms each with a full size bed and a bunk bed and a shared bathroom

There is one additional half bath off the kitchen.

On the lower level of Beaver Point Lodge is a large entertainment and game room. The game room is 20' x 30' and has a ping-pong table, pool table and a game board table. The lodge has many game boards available for your use. There is also a wet bar, refrigerator and microwave.

Adjacent and open to the game area is the entertainment room. Here we have a large screen TV, VCR/DVD player, CD changer and a surround sound stereo amplifier.

Beaver Point Lodge is located on a point and is surrounded by water on three sides. There is over 1600 feet of secluded lakefront. There is a beach area that has a gradual slope to the waters edge. We have a 2011 22' pontoon boat with a 70 HP motor and 2 canoes and 2 kayaks.

Soft Maple Lake is located on the Beaver River. The Beaver River is a beautiful Adirondack river with several lakes along the way. The fishing, canoeing, kayaking and swimming are some of the best to be found.

For winter activity, the lodge and the surrounding area receive an average of 200"-300" of snow per year. The lodge is located 500 yards from the NY state Corridor 8 trail. There are a number of secondary trails in the immediate area as well. Downhill and cross country skiing are other favorite winter activities

Summer rentals are one-week minimum and rent from Saturday to Saturday, mid June through Labor Day weekend. Holiday weekends and New Years are 3-night minimum rentals. Thanksgiving, and Christmas are 4-night minimum rentals. All other rentals are 2-night minimum.
